This is a sample shot "incidentally" during the Smartisan T2 evaluation of the hammer, which includes Samsung S6 edge, one of the Android photography benchmarks, Moto X pole and Nexus 6, Xiaomi Note/Xiaomi 4c/Meizu PRO5, and one plus two and Xshot, which are famous for their photography ability.

Background:

• S6 edge is Verzion US version, the system version is OE2 updated in June and July 2015, based on Android 5.0.2, and the other models are the latest system version on January 5 (two Xiaomi models are development versions);

• The maintenance of the Xshot tester is poor, and the lens is severely worn, which makes it impossible to compare its real discrimination and glare control. However, as the strongest optical anti shake IMX214 model in China, its weak light sample has certain reference value even if it is residual blood;

• The proofs are arranged from strong to weak light, with the focus in the middle. All machines with automatic HDR are equipped with automatic HDR, and only the group with better performance in automatic and night view mode is selected in low light;

• Photometry: it can not open the gap, but it is more just the difference of adjustment tendency;

• White balance: S6 edge is the most stable; The probability of one plus two and Xshot white balance drift is relatively higher; Moto X-pole/nexus 6 and Xiaomi 4c tend to be green and blue as a whole; The PRO5 screen turns gray and yellow as a whole; Xiaomi Note habitually turns yellow; Once HDR is triggered, the hammer Smartisan T2 will have an obvious blue problem;

Discrimination:

• The high pixel PRO5 and S6 edge have the best performance. S6 edge has the lightest sharpening trace, natural picture and rich picture details, but its sharpness has been compromised; PRO5 sharpening heavy hand, high contrast, but lost a little picture details;

• The 21 megapixel Moto X has the power to distinguish many scenes, such as the 13 megapixel Xiaomi 4c and one plus two. Xiaomi 4c is unexpectedly smaller than one plus two, but the picture is white and the contrast is not high;
  

• Hammer T2 is close to Xiaomi Note, but the former has better lens quality and higher picture contrast. The Nexus 6 unexpectedly includes the end of the whole process (after upgrading Android 6.0, the camera sharpness has significantly reversed).

Night view/HDR mode

HDR/HDR+mode of Moto X pole and Nexus 6, Xshot、 The night scene mode of Xiaomi 4c and Xiaomi Note will have a significant impact on the weak light/night scene performance, so compare their respective effects in advance.

The HDR/night view mode of Moto X-pole and Xiaomi 4c are both enabled with strong noise smearing. Noise is significantly reduced but details are lost. The situation of Xiaomi 4c is more obvious.

The HDR/night view mode of Nexus 6 and Xshot both have the performance of opening and closing, and the brightness and noise smearing are improved while retaining many details.

In weak light, arrange from weak to strong:

• Poor performance level: Xiaomi 4c and PRO5 without optical anti shake first kneel down, the noise point increases sharply, and the film rate decreases significantly; Xiaomi Note, which has optical anti shake, is not much better than the first two due to its heavy hand noise smearing algorithm;

• Standard level: the hammer Smartisan T2 is noisy special The white balance drift is obvious, which affects the appearance, but the detail performance is significantly improved compared with the previous machines; Although Moto X pole does not have optical anti shake, HDR algorithm performs well, the picture is quite clean, and the details are well preserved;

• Excellent performance level: One plus two, Xshot and Nexus 6 all belong to the first echelon. The overall performance of one plus two is slightly better. Although the noise suppression is not as violent as the "on/off mode" of the other two machines, the picture is natural and the details are properly preserved. The Xshot and Nexus 6 in the normal mode perform generally, not as good as the Hammer T2 of this generation, but the DHR/night scene mode is extremely violent, some samples even exceed one plus two, but the synthesis time is long, the experience is discounted, and the film rate is low.

What is not independently compared here is S6 edge. The system version of the tester is old, and the trigger value of the automatic night scene mode is too high. Only the ultra weak light of scene 12 can trigger. In normal mode, the picture is rich in detail, but not sharp. The noise is moving, and the performance is slightly better than Moto X-pole, but it is inferior to the Nexus 6 in HDR/night view mode Xshot and one plus two, after triggering the night scene mode (Scene 12), it shows a fierce performance of standing out from the crowd.

The weak light imaging performance of one plus two is excellent, but the daytime discrimination is a bit weak; Moto X-pole and the previous generation's Xshot are both commendable, and the latter's weak light performance is still amazing; The Nexus 6 is the type with poor daytime and good weak light; In addition to the unstable white balance, Hammer T2 has performed well and exceeded many people's expectations; Meizu PRO5、 Xiaomi 4c and Xiaomi Note are the same type of insect in the daytime and the same type of insect in the evening, but the degree is slightly different.

The one plus two of this generation, even the Xshot of the previous generation, can compete with the international giants on the same stage, but the weak light imaging performance of Xiaomi and Meizu, which sell the most, really needs to be improved, especially Xiaomi
