The only problem is that the remote control consumes too much power, but now the official has replaced the improved version of the remote control for free, and the problem has been solved. However, after a long time of use, I still feel that sometimes it is inconvenient. For example, it is bulky and troublesome to install every time. If you want to watch a movie in bed, you have to get up first to find the projection, and then find the support. Then you can lie down in peace after a busy job. In this cold winter, this series of steps has become the biggest obstacle for the author to watch movies. So we thought about getting a smaller, easy to install projector with batteries, so that the author could watch it as he wanted without getting up. This lazy cancer has gone deep into the marrow... At this time, I just got the chance to try out the PaPa Pocket Cinema, which basically meets my needs. Let's see whether the PaPa Pocket Cinema can meet the requirements of the author.

1、 PaPa pocket cinema unpacking

Although we already know that this product is very small, when we saw the packaging, we still felt a sigh of emotion: really Nima is small!!! Take the small potted plants on the table as a contrast, it is hard to imagine that this box contains a magic projector

The size of small potted plants may not be convenient to understand the true size. Let's compare it with a common magazine.

There are not too many parameters listed on the back of the box, just a brief introduction to the functions. The function introduction is quite impressive, but it doesn't seem to be useful.

Not many parts, but enough. The body, remote control, charging cable and fire cow, together with simple instructions, do not seem to need anything else.

2、 PaPa pocket cinema appearance

Let's take a look at the appearance of the accessories first. The charger adopts the standard 5V, 2A specification, which is very common now. Most mobile power supplies can also support it, which is very convenient. Especially for lazy cancer patients like me, it is more convenient to connect the mobile power supply than to get up and find a charger

The remote control is also designed in pure white, and its shape is similar to that of the common Android box remote control. It feels good, and the key feedback is very clear. The battery also uses CR2032 battery. Now there are a lot of batteries in the house for polar meters

Come and see the main character. In addition to the projection window, there is only one infrared receiving window on the front. The whole side is designed with frosted metal, which is convenient for heat dissipation and also improves the aesthetic degree, and feels good. By the way, although the infrared receiving window is located on the front, the remote control facing the white wall can also be used normally.

The back is all the connectors. Headphone interface, TF card slot, USB interface, charging and reset. The lack of HDMI is definitely a hard injury. It would be better to reserve one for the TF card and USB, rather than a place for HDMI. Although HDMI is rarely used in home projection, it doesn't always seem that there is a lot of things missing

There are cooling holes on both sides. Although the fuselage is small, there are many cooling holes, and the heat dissipation performance is also good. There is also a manual focusing knob on the side of the lens, but this knob is not easy to control, so it needs to be adjusted carefully and slowly.

After power on, there are hidden touch buttons on the front, which can complete the operation even without remote control. This is very convenient for me.

3、 PaPa pocket cinema system

The PaPa projection has an Android system built in, which can be regarded as a combination of TV box and projection. The desktop adopts a deeply customized system desktop. The magnetic tile design is similar to Win8, which is very convenient for remote control operation.

However, PaPa does not rely on its own resources. All its built-in resources rely on other APPs. At this point, I feel that PaPa's investment in the system is slightly smaller. For example, Taijieyun audio-visual technology is used in movies, and TV is used in TV cats. However, the system desktop does not support customization, which is a little inconvenient. It would be great if you could customize other programs.

In the system settings, the interface is not optimized for TV operation. It is just the interface of the tablet. It can be seen that PaPa, as the company's first projection product, is still lacking in system optimization.

In terms of applications, the system has many built-in applications that are easy to use. For example, Wukong remote control, Lebo projection screen, etc., can make up for the lack of official applications. Basically, all functions can be realized, which should also be an official remedy.

4、 PaPa pocket cinema projection

For such a product, it is not expected that it can be used in the daytime, so let's take a brief look at the effect of using it at night. The projection distance is about 2 meters, and the projection size is about 60-70 inches. This size can basically meet my personal requirements.

When the lights are on at night, the projection effect is not intelligent enough. Basically, I can see it, but I can't care too much about details.

After the lights are turned off, the effect is significantly improved, but the overall color is still dim. It is also understandable that the factor is limited to volume.

In details, due to the low resolution, you can still see the obvious diamond grid when you look closer. However, we can't expect too much for this product. There are grids in the home of the polar meter Z4X. Who makes the LED micro investment have no 1080P resolution yet

5、 PaPa pocket cinema experience

After several days of experience, if I am most satisfied with this projector, it is a small size. The extremely small size makes it no longer a dream to carry a projector with you. When you go out, you can carry it directly in your pocket, wherever you want.

The advantage of portability is that it is convenient to use, and you can cast whenever you want. Sitting quietly in the cafe, you can easily project a movie on the wall to see it. As I do, it is not impossible to directly project it on the box of PaPa. Take this at the party. It's much easier to share videos. Even though the brightness lumen is slightly lower, the appearance is quite good when the size is small.

After talking about the advantages, let's talk about the disadvantages. The hard wound of low resolution and low brightness is basically inextricable. The so-called "fish and bear's paw" cannot have both, and the small volume and high resolution and high lumen must not have both. Apart from these, the most unsatisfying thing is the sound quality of the PaPa. The small size also limits the quality of the speaker. The original speaker is basically able to sound. If you want to enjoy a better effect, it is more reliable to use an external headset or a Bluetooth speaker.

PaPa Pocket Cinema Usage Summary

This product can basically solve my lazy cancer. If you want to see a movie, you can hold it out and play it directly. There is no electricity. You can directly charge it by pulling a mobile phone charging cable, or use a mobile power supply. As for the picture quality, I don't have too high a requirement. I only watch online videos. 480P is actually enough. The problem of sound quality is definitely hard to solve, but it can be solved through Bluetooth speakers, which is not troublesome. It's small and portable. It's not a dream to carry it with you. You can do something shy when you put it in the car.

With its own battery, it can play whenever you want, and the mobile power supply can also supply power.

The machine body is equipped with various controls, which can be used without the remote control.

Disadvantages:

The resolution is low. It's OK to watch network video at 480P resolution, but it's meaningless to watch high-definition.

The brightness is low, and the requirement for ambient light is relatively high for large size projection.

The sound quality is too poor. The original speaker effect is just so so. It will be much better if it is paired with a Bluetooth speaker.

The system is not optimized enough. The native desktop occasionally gets stuck. It is also a problem to have no own resources.
