Too strong! Huawei's new Kirin processor set another world record

On January 13, a Huawei device of unknown model appeared in GeekBench Running points library Surprisingly, the score of SoC carried by the device reached a record again, with single core score reaching 2018 and multi-core score reaching 7313.

It is known that the single core score of the mobile phone chip chip is the strongest at present, which is more than 2400 points of Apple A9. The world's first score of the multi-core score was more than 6300 points of Huawei Kirin 950. This time, the score of the new device was as high as 7313 points, which directly opened the gap of 1000 points with Kirin 950. The SoC on this device is probably a high-frequency version of the Kirin 950, which still has a 4 * A72+4 * A53 architecture. According to the data provided by GeekBench, the frequency of its small core is still 1.8GHz, which is no different from the Kirin 950. That is to say, the reason why it has such strong performance is that its large core (A72) has raised the main frequency.

According to the performance of the current mobile phone processor, it is not easy to maintain the high frequency load of the large core for a long time. It is easy to reduce the frequency of the large core at high frequencies, just like the Snapdragon 810.
