For a TV box and HD player, the playback ability of local video is one of the important performance indicators. The first test is the playback ability of local video!

When watching a movie, the sound quality is as important as the picture quality. Good sound effects can make the audience feel more immersive. Before testing the picture quality, we first tested the audio playback ability,   The test format type is shown in the following table:

After testing, the above music formats are perfectly supported, and Skyworth i71S also supports APE format, so don't worry about the sound quality.

After testing the audio, the most important video can be played smoothly through testing the current mainstream video formats. However, although it can play smoothly, I found a problem ignored in the audio test during the test. Let's talk about it in detail.

When playing Doomsday and Zodiac, it was found that only two of the four audio tracks in the video could be played normally, and the other two could not be played. Through careful checking of the video information, it was found that the two audio tracks that could not be played were DTS's. In addition, after selecting a fast forward audio track that cannot be played, switching the audio track will cause serious audio and picture out of sync. After searching Skyworth, he found that the solution was given in the forum, but it needs some hands-on ability. I hope to update it in the firmware as soon as possible!

There was also a strange phenomenon. When I played a downloaded Premier League game, I exited inexplicably. Then the other videos I selected could not be played, and the picture of the Premier League game before I exited inexplicably appeared. Then I exited inexplicably. Only cutting off the power supply and restarting could solve the problem.

Skyworth Box's video resources are in cooperation with iQIYI. The operating interface of iQIYI is somewhat similar to the web version of iQIYI. In recent years, iQIYI has quickly gained a foothold in the video industry relying on Baidu. There is no need to worry about resources. At present, there are both popular and mainstream iQIYI.

I chose the recently popular "Four Famous Catchers" to test the smoothness and clarity of online play. This play has three kinds of clarity to choose from: "HD, 720P, 1080P". My home is the 6M ADSL, online play 1080P has a stuck, 720P can play smoothly, the picture quality is relatively clear, and friends who are not too demanding should be satisfied.

There is a 4K section for video resources. Since the home network does not support and does not have a 4K display, the specific content will not be evaluated. However, there is a bit of doubt here: if 1080P priority is set in the box's playback settings, the 1080P version of 4K will play first when entering the 4K zone. I think that since I entered the 4K zone, I should watch 4K instead of playing 1080P by default.

The only thing I can't stand in the box is the pre installed software. There are 23 pre installed software that can't be uninstalled. This is the only way for many mobile phone manufacturers or contract machines at present. How come they have it in the box? It's very disappointing!!!

There are many games in the game area, but the box does not support Bluetooth and can only use wired handles, which is a bit disappointing.

The box can also be controlled through the iQIYI client on the mobile phone, which is more convenient when you can't find the remote control occasionally or when you go to bed and find that the remote control has not been brought.

3. Local broadcasting does not support DTS sound effects of movies, which affects the viewing experience. Although there is a solution in the forum, it needs some hands-on ability. I hope it can be solved in the firmware upgrade later;

4. Inadequate consideration of detail experience. For example, if 1080P is set as the preference in the playback settings, the 1080P version should be played first when entering the 4K zone. Since entering the 4K zone is aimed at 4K, the 4K version should be played instead of 1080P version;

5. The most unacceptable thing is that 23 pre installed software still cannot be uninstalled, which is very disappointing. This is a rogue practice of many mobile phone manufacturers. I hope that this situation will not be found in the box, and that upgrading firmware can uninstall pre installed applications!
