Samsung launched the all metal Galaxy A series at the beginning of 2015. The existing models of the latter include Galaxy A3, A5, A7, A8 and A9. After getting rid of the title of "Ten Thousand Years of Plastic", Samsung went all the way to the technology tree of metal and glass, and launched the new Galaxy A5, A7 and A9 at the end of 2015.

In addition to the A9 of Snapdragon 652, A5 and A7 have also been updated to the new family design language and added rose gold (pink). Before the detailed evaluation, let's take a look at the new faces of these three new machines:

The design of the three machines is highly unified. All of them are metal frames and double-sided 2.5D glass. All of them are Qualcomm SoC. They support fingerprint identification and TF card expansion. All of them are dual card full network communication.

In addition to the A9, which does not have black, these three models all offer black, white, gold, and pink colors this year. What we got were the black Galaxy A5, the rose gold Galaxy A7, and the gold Galaxy A9.

Galaxy A5

The Galaxy A5 uses a 5.1 inch 1080P Super AMOLED screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615+2GB memory+16GB ROM+2900mAh battery, a front 5 million+rear 13 million pixel optical anti shake camera, and the price is 2398 yuan.

The back of the machine is similar to the Galaxy S6 of similar size, but the angular transition is smaller and more reversed. The effect of 2.5D glass is much more obvious and three-dimensional. The size of the Galaxy A5 is moderate with a 5.2 inch screen and a narrow border. With a weight of 155g, the grip feels pretty good.

Galaxy A7

The Galaxy A7 is equipped with a 5.5 inch 1080P Super AMOLED screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615+3GB memory+16GB ROM+3300mAh battery, and also a front 5 million+rear 13 million pixel optical anti shake camera, which costs 2699 yuan.

The Galaxy A7 is more rounded than the variable angle. There is glitter powder in the pink back, which is quite bright. In addition, this is a rare pink model with a black front.

The inosculation of the card slot is very tight, and the workmanship is quite good. The card slots of the two machines are almost identical. Two nano SIM cards, or one sim card+one TF card, can be inserted at the same time.

Galaxy A9

The Galaxy A9 is equipped with a 6-inch 1080P Super AMOLED screen. It is the first and only mobile phone equipped with Snapdragon 652. It has 3GB memory+32GB ROM+4000mAh battery, 8 million front+13 million rear pixel optical anti shake camera, and the price is 3199 yuan.

The A9 has two card slots, and the side card slot is a black card holder, which can insert nano SIM card and TF card at the same time.

In addition to the noise reducing microphone, there is an additional card slot on the top, which can be inserted into another nano SIM card. It is a real dual card+TF card design.

The screen is up to 6 inches high. Even if it has an ultra narrow border, it is not practical to operate it by one hand, but at least the machine will not be too hand holding.

The camera still has a bulge, but the amplitude is much smaller than the S series. The camera, flash and logo are highly consistent in size and layout. The larger the body, the more spacious/concise it will be.

The size of keys and edge transitions are almost the same, but the radian of 2.5D glass decreases as the screen grows.

The bigger the screen, the narrower the border. In fact, even A5 has a narrower border.

The layout of left and right buttons is also very similar. The metal frame at the corners is slightly prominent, enhancing the variable angle feel, while the side edges are flattened to narrow the frame.

The workmanship of the three machines is of the flagship level. Apart from the choice of design (white belt), there is really nothing impeccable. In terms of appearance, the keys and interfaces of the three machines, even the angle change transition, maintain a high degree of consistency, and it feels that Samsung is working on the machine sea route even in terms of size and aesthetics... but It is undeniable that the appearance of this generation of A series has improved significantly.
