I took the three highest temperature data of the whole machine for your reference. The temperature of the upper right corner of the fuselage is 26.2 degrees, the temperature of the cooling hole on the right side of the machine is 21.8 degrees, and the temperature of the bottom of the cooling hole on the right side is the highest, 28.1 degrees. [Noise test] For projectors, noise is also a concern of many friends, because it will not only affect the mood of users when watching movies, but also may damage users' hearing due to loud noise. Let's first take a look at the difference between noise and ordinary people:
0 - 20 decibels: basically not felt at this level.
20-40 dB: Quiet, like whispering.
40-60 dB: Ordinary, ordinary indoor conversation.

Because the professional test noise is carried out in an absolutely silent space, the data obtained is more accurate, of course, I can't do it. In order to achieve the relative accuracy of the data, I adopted a more common noise test technique - five directional fixed-point test method. That is to say, the same distance of 50CM is used to sample the data in the front, back, left and right directions of the measured object, and then the five data are averaged to obtain a relatively accurate result. [Brightness test] I believe that for projection, brightness has always been one of the indicators most concerned by users. Here I remind you that the high brightness of commercial projection is to meet the needs of use in the daytime, while most of the use environments of domestic projection are at night, and most of them are in full darkness. Therefore, too high brightness will hurt your glasses, So I also advise you that if you don't have special needs, you don't need too much brightness at home. Of course, some friends who like watching TV by projection in the daytime can ignore my words. Since the indicator of brightness will greatly affect the user's choice when purchasing, basically all projection manufacturers will deliberately raise the lumen of the machine in their propaganda. We are used to this, so let's test the real brightness of Lixun Q7 together!
In order to test more accurately, I used the ANSI 9-point test method, that is, to measure the illuminance of 9 points in the picture, and then the average illuminance of 9 points is the average illuminance of the whole screen, and then multiplied by the picture size to get the brightness of the machine, that is, the lumen number.


The lux values of the nine points are 396lux, 447lux, 449lux, 444lux, 514lux, 508lux, 460lux, 521lux, 528lux respectively, with an average value of about 474. Then multiply the area by 0.8, and the ANSI brightness is 379 lumens. This value is far from the official 800 lumens, so I thought that many projection manufacturers' standard brightness is actually based on the peak brightness of the projection, Peak brightness refers to the highest brightness that a single point can reach under the brightest mode. After testing, the peak brightness of Lixun Q7 reached 648 lumens. Although it is still some distance from 800 lumens, I can understand it.

[Virtual focus/out of focus test] Lixun Q7 is a DL P technology projector, while DLP technology has certain shortcomings, that is, it is difficult to achieve full screen synchronous focus on the projection image, that is, you turn on and adjust the middle position, and there may be virtual focus in other places, and vice versa, and this problem may not be solved temporarily. As long as DLP is used, this problem will exist more or less, Only some manufacturers will use technical means to minimize this phenomenon. How will Q7 perform in this respect?
As can be seen from the figure below, the text display of the whole projection screen is relatively uniform, and a small piece on the lower right is slightly blurred, but its performance is already very excellent. Recalling my other DLP micro projector, the comparison is a bit overshadowed.


The lens used in the projector can be divided into resin lens and glass lens. The former is cheaper, while the latter is more expensive. In long-term use, the aging of resin lens is much more serious than that of glass lens, and its service life is also inferior to that of glass lens. In addition, the resin lens will soften when encountering high temperature, so many projectors using resin lens may run out of focus when encountering cold and heat. The focus is adjusted when the machine is started, but when the machine is hot, it will appear false again. At this time, the focus needs to be adjusted again. However, Lixun Q7 uses a more expensive glass lens, so the phenomenon of out of focus has not been found so far. The following picture was taken one hour after the machine was started, and then the images of the four corners and the middle position were intercepted. We can see that there is no difference between the four corners and the middle position. They are very clear.

                                                         4、 Projection display effect display                                                    

We know that as the projection distance increases, the brightness will gradually decline, and the picture quality will become worse and worse. So the brightness has a great relationship with the size and effect of the projection. From the previous chapter, we measured the ANSI brightness is 379 lumens, and the peak brightness is 648 lumens. What about its projection size and display effect? Let me uncover the mystery for everyone!
According to the test, Lixun Q7 can project a 100 inch picture at a distance of about 2.9 meters. The picture quality will decline significantly after the picture exceeds 130 inches. The best effect can be achieved when the projection size is between 80 inches and 100 inches. Although the picture quality has declined at 120 inches, it is within the acceptable range, and the visual impact effect will increase. So the screen shot samples shown below are all taken at a size of about 120 inches.


Due to the constraints of shooting equipment, shooting environment, shooting technology and other factors, there must be a gap between the screen shot picture effect and the real projection effect. In most cases, the actual effect is better than the screen shot picture, but because the screen shot picture will be reduced, some pictures will be better than the real effect, so the following pictures are for your reference only!
From the following four solid color swatch of red, yellow, blue and green, red and blue basically restore the original color, while yellow and green show a lighter color, a bit warming.


The color is full and true, basically consistent with the original film.

The scenes of the youth school are mostly seascapes with bright colors. Q7 is a real restoration.

As for the Media Center, we will talk about it later. Now let's take a brief look at some relevant settings of Lixun Q7. There are very detailed descriptions of the settings in the manual, so I will no longer act as an editor to introduce them one by one. The main thing is that we don't need to touch many things in the machine. The settings are divided into three parts, but in addition to the images marked in the first part, the other two items are settings 1 and 2. I don't understand why not mark the main body of the setting item more clearly, so that users can quickly find what they want to set!


If the label is not clear, it's OK, but I'm a little depressed to have the advanced option of+1+2+2 in each setting column. Let alone just take over, even I, who have been using it for more than a week, still can't figure out where the 3D settings are! Well, the main reason is that my memory has declined a bit. However, shouldn't we make product design simpler and more convenient? I think Lixun Company should consider this problem!


There are six preset modes and two user-defined modes in the display mode of Lixun Q7. Of course, the most common mode we use is the movie mode and a user-defined mode. Through my trial for several days, I found that the movie mode is intended for the standard head of SLR camera, that is, it can be applied to a variety of environments. Although it is not very good, it is mostly satisfactory.


In terms of image proportion, there are six types, namely full screen, 4:3, 16:9, wide screen, one-to-one and 2.35:1. Among them, 16:9 and one-to-one are the two most commonly used modes. 16:9 is the format commonly used in current movies, while one-to-one can restore the real film scene as much as possible. However, 2.35:1, as a promotional selling point of Q7, is not always available. It will become incomplete when used in pictures. Generally, films that do not support a certain proportion cannot be used.


Generally, there are four projection modes, namely front projection, rear projection, hoisting front projection and hoisting rear projection. In order to meet different projection modes, Lixun Q7 has set four modes for these four projection modes. The following figure shows the different effects of each method.


In addition, for the problem of inaccurate projection positioning caused by the projection placement position, Lixun Q7 also sets two displacement modes, namely vertical displacement and horizontal displacement. The following picture is the projection picture under normal conditions.


If we use vertical shift, the picture will move up or down, and the picture scene will not change. The horizontal shift is to move the picture, which will lose part of the film scene.
