The outer packaging of the X5S still follows the consistent packaging style of Vivo: simple white with a shiny logo.

The mobile phone frame adopts the treatment of bevel angle, and the metal frame design. 　

On the left side of the phone are the power on key and volume key, both of which are made of metal. The key feedback is obvious. On the right side of the phone is the single SIM card slot.

The logo of vivo is on the upper left corner of the vivo X5L screen. The earpiece above the screen is covered with a metal mesh dust-proof net. On the left side of the earpiece is a sensing device (including distance sensing and light sensing). On the right side of the earpiece is a front 5 million pixel camera. The front camera has a 88 degree wide angle with a beauty mode, which is more excellent in taking selfies.

At the bottom of the screen are the regular function keys. From the right to the left are the menu key, home key and return key. However, these three keys do not have a background light, so they need to be adapted during night operation.

The back of the vivo X5S is designed in sections, the top and bottom are made of plastic, and the middle is made of metal. The plastic part is dirty and easy to wear.

The rear of the mobile phone uses a 13 million pixel Sony camera, a closed-loop motor, which can achieve rapid focus, and LED flash light is next to it.

The vivo X5S speaker is located on the back of the phone and uses a semi open integrated sound chamber. The advantage is that the external volume is large and the effect is good. The disadvantage is that the design here is not very beautiful.
