Maybe it's because Chai Jing's Under the Dome made me pay attention to the air purifier. Now the air pollution is getting more and more serious. With the blending of millet, the air purifier is almost a necessary protective equipment for every family.

I was also lucky to get a chance to try out the "Three Dads" Air Purifier, the latest air purifier released by "Three Dads": Eva Baby.

From the perspective of the product price of 899, it should be somewhat opposed to Xiaomi air purifier. However, from the perspective of the current domestic air environment, there is still room for growth in the air purifier market

Let's not say too much, just start from the unpacking of the product:

The outer packing can be very thick, no bump is found.

Open the outer box: a care, a responsibility. It is a good expression of the original intention of the manufacturer.

Pulling out the inner box is right on this side. I believe that the first feeling of being a parent will be very impactful.

The packaging protection provided by the manufacturer is very good. There are film cushions inside the inner and outer packaging boxes, at least to save the buyer's worry.

The protagonist appeared, white and simple, and the four sides of the long tube are R rounded corners, which is obviously designed for children at home.

Its height is only 44cm, and its net weight is 4.2KG. Under such a small volume, the official data is that the PM2.5 removal value CADR is 201 cubic meters/hour, the applicable area is 20 square meters, and the effective range is about the size of a bedroom. In addition, its CADR value for formaldehyde removal is 129 cubic meters per hour, which can reduce the concentration of formaldehyde exceeding the standard by 10 times to about the safe value of the new national standard in half an hour in a space of 30 cubic meters. However, the formaldehyde removal function requires replacing the activated carbon filter element.

The positive side is the purified air outlet. The design of grille and wire mesh reassures parents, because it can prevent children's hands or other small objects from touching the fan of the purifier. There are only three buttons at the bottom (smart key, wind speed key and on/off key to the left).

The bottom is the air inlet detection port, from which harmful substances in the air will be sucked in, so it needs to be cleaned regularly. The rotary switch can remove the filter cover to replace the filter element.

In order to prevent children from misoperation, a snap is also designed here. You need to pull the snap first and then rotate the switch to open the filter cover.

The direction and degree of rotation are clearly marked. The other four foot pads have good anti-skid performance.

Evababe's filter element adopts H11 barrel shaped HEPA filter element, which can purify pollutants: PM2.5、 Dust, pollen, formaldehyde, odor, smoke TVOC。

It is understood that the price of this filter element is 128 yuan, and there is also an optional activated carbon filter element: 280 yuan.

What bothers me here is why I use this two end plug? But the important thing is that its power is only 27W, and it consumes 1 kilowatt hour of electricity after two days of operation in high-speed mode. This may also be the data that prudent parents need to know.

After we understand the official parameter information and the appearance characteristics of the unpacking experience, we need to actually use it to know whether it is good or not.

The app of "Three Dads" can bind the air purifier and connect it to the designated wifi network, so that you can check the air quality at home at any time even when you are away from home to remotely control the work of the air purifier.

APP provides manual mode and intelligent mode. In manual mode, you can customize the speed of fan operation, while in intelligent mode, you can select the best speed according to the air quality of your city.

In addition, it also provides such functions as turning off the LED light on the button panel, child lock on the panel, remote switch on and off, etc.

In actual use, Eva Baby uses an infrared particle sensor, which cannot display the current air quality in real time. The air quality displayed in the APP is the weather information obtained from the network after you set the location. Eva Baby has built a set of air purification operation algorithm to calculate the required purification speed according to the air quality given by the weather information.

However, no matter how it is realized, the most obvious feeling is that it has a good ability to purify dust.

In addition, a bug was fed back. APP sharing did not provide relevant purification data.

Final summary: The air purifier used to be a luxury for thousands of people, but now it has been reduced to the level of thousands of yuan by several manufacturers.

This is a good thing for the user, but the user's requirement is not only cheap, but also strong enough performance. This is the first air purifier I used, at least it did not disappoint me. Although it has some shortcomings, I hope the manufacturer can continue to maintain "a care, a responsibility."
