More hateful people touch porcelain, and driving safety is increasingly threatened. In case of an accident, it needs to be supported by a tachograph. Don't let yourself be wronged again!

The most important thing of the DASH CAM is to record the moment of the collision, and to capture it, it needs good image quality to see who is responsible.

It needs to have a stable working attitude, ensure that there is no strike every second, bear hardships and stand the test of severe cold and heat, record the road conditions at all times, and stare at the front without blinking.

He needs a clear eye. He can neither be nearsighted nor presbyopian. He can look at the world clearly and record it firmly in his mind. Glass lens is more resistant to high temperature than resin lens, and the image quality will not be affected by thermal deformation after long-term use. Unfortunately, the cost is higher.

With a good lens and a powerful chip, TI、 HiSilicon and AnBa stand in a tripartite confrontation. As for the better effect of the DASH CAM, it depends on the cooperation of the lens and the chip, and the final optimization effect.

The dash cam in the market has various brands, different functions and large price gap. It seems difficult to choose a device that is suitable for you. Today I will also bring more trouble to everyone. Who makes me like this one.

Unpacking

Thanks to Meigamebang for letting me try this product. When I got it, I couldn't wait to remove the outer package. The white box was printed with an orange Mijia logo. The outer package was simple. There was only one logo on the front, and a Mijia interactive sticker on the back, introducing basic functions, manufacturers, customer service and other information.

There is an interesting slogan on the right side of the box, "Mijia DASH CAM is more than recording". It is not simply recording. What else is there? Will there be more eggs waiting for me?

The upper case cover is embedded in the sea surface, which is the main body of Mijia DASH CAM. With big shining eyes, you are the cousin of the little yellow man! The designer must be a big fan of the little yellow man. I can't help but want to say why Meijianbang didn't give me the yellow one! Are you testing my painting and hand painting skills? I can't manage it! Is it like this that the Mi family with high appearance will be destroyed in my hands? I won't be so headstrong! I'd better use PS technology.

Mijia's big eyes are made of six sets of aspherical glass HD optical lenses. There is an infrared filter behind the lens, which effectively prevents infrared rays from passing through the lens and causing distortion, making the image more perfect.

There is also a power cord in the box that only has GPS positioning function. The power cord is thick enough, and there is a 3M sticker on the GPS module, which is convenient for sticking anywhere! But is the 3M sticker so easy to use! Some of my anti loss guards from different manufacturers also use 3M stickers! It seems that large manufacturers deserve the trust of many manufacturers! There is a story about the installation of this module. Let's talk about it later.

This time, Meijiabang is offering a high-end version of Mijia! The ordinary version only has a base of 3M stickers, and the high configuration version also has a suction cup type base for your choice!

The appearance of some little black people was mentioned above. Now I will talk about the installation and experience in advance! After all, applications are more important to us. I'm going to write the functions and interfaces of APP later!

install

The installation of the DASH CAM is relatively simple. The power cord is hidden and fixed along the ceiling, A pillar and glove box of the car at one time. The power cord is fixed according to the actual needs; After wiring is finished, the host can be installed. The host can be clamped with a suction cup or a 3M plastic bracket and fixed on the front block. The appropriate position is recommended in front of the rear-view mirror. The small size of the little black man does not affect the use of the rear-view mirror. Moreover, the front and reverse installation of the little black man do not affect the photography, and the video will be automatically stored as an image of normal viewing angle; Plug the car charger into the cigarette lighter, and then connect the charger and the host with the power cord. Wait a minute or so to hear the prompt tone of "Hello Mijia". This is the installation and startup of Mijia DASH CAM. (The whole process is relatively simple. If the hands-on ability is poor, it can be installed at the 4S point.)

Speaking of installation, the GPS problem mentioned above was also sold before. In fact, it is an installation problem. The GPS module should be close to or near the front windshield. I just installed it too close to the inside, so the GPS can't be located. I called the customer service to ask if there was a problem with the module. Then I pasted the correct place, and the positioning was no longer a problem.

Experience test

The image quality that the recorder can record is OK. Let's see. First, I am in the daytime, and the weather is cloudy. The returned picture is about 10m away from the number on the license plate. The picture is relatively small in the video screen, but the traffic police can solve this problem by using technical means! (Maybe I've watched too many movies!)

The field of vision of the DASH CAM is very important. Is there a legendary 156 degree super wide angle? Most of the camera lenses of the DASH CAM will be exaggerated. Let's check it. It's just a simple algorithm, and there may be some errors! The results tell us that the two right angled sides X=14, Z=10 calculate Y=17.2 sin∠=0.813， So the angle is about 55 °, and the bilateral angle is 110 °. It seems that there is still a 46 ° gap. Although there is a big gap, it is still higher than the visual angle of mass products on the market. Most of the above visual angles are about 90 °!

Some manufacturers have different opinions on this. They say three-dimensional angle, while we consider horizontal visual angle. At the beginning, we all hope that the horizontal angle exceeds 360 ° when we actually apply it!

If the shooting angle is too large, the picture will be distorted. Will there be any picture distortion in our Mi Family? The answer is yes. The lenses of SLR cameras are also pure in this problem. Some high-end cameras automatically correct distortion, and the distortion of images can be corrected through image processing software. However, Mijia is a 1000 yuan equipment after all, and its distortion correction ability cannot be compared with that of SLR. It is OK to check the image distortion control!

When driving, we always have to go through the day and night. The change of light has an impact on the ground imaging of the DASH CAM. It is also necessary to see if we try this. Next, I conducted road tests during the day and night. Due to the problem of the author's video processing software, I did not edit the images carefully. There was also a conversation between me and my colleagues, which may affect the mood of readers. I also did not integrate into a video screen, which was divided into three sections (in the tunnel, out of the tunnel during the day, and running at night).

The effect of cloudy days, the weather in early winter in Zhejiang, rainy and cloudy, and the video also shows a picture of small raindrops in the front block. The light conditions are not at the best time, and cars can not only go out in sunny days. Of course, the recorder can not only be used when the light is optimal, and now the performance of cloudy days is also very representative!

It's convenient for everyone to watch. I also took a screenshot in the video, and did not capture the front of the car. In the picture, there is a car on the left, about 5-6 meters away, and the license plate can be clearly recognized (the picture has been reduced to a certain extent for the sake of uploading convenience).

I uploaded the video to the computer, and it can be seen from the properties that the pixel is 1920 * 1080. The manufacturer did not exaggerate the propaganda, but expressed it honestly! The video recorded by Mijia DASH CAM takes up about 180M of storage space in 3min and 3.6G in 1h. Generally, the miniSD card is more than 8G, so the driving record is no problem!

In normal light, the picture is clean and tidy, without blurring or uneven edges. In addition, the scene recording in front of the car is completely OK. A little can be seen from the A pillar, but there is still no wider angle. This is also true for most of the tachographs. The performance of the angle is still standard!

When entering the tunnel in the video, the control of glare is still insufficient. It may be that some halo control has been sacrificed in order to get more light into the tunnel. The edges of the lighting places are obviously not as sharp as normal. I hope this can be improved in future versions.

At night, the urban image noise control is relatively good, and the image is also clean, but the rural light is not sufficient, and the noise has increased significantly, which is also a common problem of many tachographs. Especially dark places need a large aperture to ensure the image quality, and there are naturally many noise points! However, there is no problem with recording driving right ahead. (This video is for testing GPS, so there is no mounting bracket fixed on the car when going out, and the picture shakes.)

I don't know if my place is a little remote. The GPS positioning time is a little long during cold start. It takes another 2 minutes after the host starts to hear the voice prompt of "normal positioning". The manual says it only takes 30 seconds.

There are also hand gestures (photoelectric induction) and collision records in the manual. Now I will provide a photo directly. The picture and image quality are good, and there is a feeling of fisheye lens. If you don't have a fisheye lens, you can take a photo with a power bank+Mijia! The power supply voltage applied by Mijia is 5.0V, and the current is 2.1A. Most of the chargers on the market can fully meet this requirement. I also use this convenience to take pictures of the canteen on the sixth floor. As for the collision, of course, we can't really crash, we just use arm shaking to experience photography.

APP

The APP interface is very simple, which is divided into four parts: recorder, travel notes, photo album and individual. Registration and login are very simple, registration requires a phone number! After the DASH CAM is turned on, it will send a wifi signal (M-xxxxx signal). Don't get excited. This is not available for Internet access, but is used for short distance transmission with mobile phones!

After bundling, you can see a device with the same name as the wifi signal in the recorder, and it has "Online" on it. Click it to watch the scene captured by the DASH CAM online. The following gears can be set specifically. I'd better use pictures to show it! The writing is a bit boring.

The recorder function can download Michaelis' movies, and can change the space for cyclic video recording through the settings inside, so as to avoid SD card being full and unable to record driving videos.

The travel record function uses GPS signals to record your driving track. Driving must not be connected to the DASH CAM with the mobile phone on all the time. The GPS location is stored in the miniSD card. When connected to the mobile phone, it is imported into the APP to record the driving track. I read an article about using Mijia's recorder to visit Yunnan and share the GPS track in the recorder. We can also use Mijia's recorder to record travel notes slowly and slowly.

The photo album records the photos taken in real time while driving, and the photos taken by the photosensitive probe are all here. In addition, there is a column of abnormality, which means that the accident time and impact are recorded in time when the collision occurs during driving! It's convenient to synchronize photo albums with your mobile phone, just pull and release them!

The overall APP is simple to change, easy to operate, and the picture is also very fine. The operation is smooth, and there is no jam! However, some functions have not been fully developed yet.

It is suggested that you can use this shooting method to record video by chip synthesis.

2. The glare control should be strengthened. The pictures captured now are dazzled under the tunnel and night lights, and the recorded pictures will be blurred.

3. The efficiency of GPS module is improved, and the signal is strengthened, which is convenient for rapid positioning.

4. In darker light, noise control should be strengthened.

Will Mijia launch a download package with audio replacement for a certain navigation system in the future? It can also be sold at a low price.

Final comments:

The tachograph should also be used as a car decoration. It can no longer reduce the score of the car's interior like the equipment photographed secretly. Most of the tachographs on the market are in the shapes of mirror suspension, cylinder and cuboid, completely ignoring the aesthetic feeling. The little black man from the Mi family really makes me love it. In the future, the firmware will change the control of glare, which will be better! It would be better if the undeveloped functions of APP were completed earlier!
