Google Tablet Pixel C comes into the market, carrying the second-generation Tegra X1 nuclear bomb

Google Carrying Terga X1 SoC's tablet Pixel C It was officially launched recently, and its design style is similar to that of Microsoft Surface Pro/Apple iPad Pro, adopting the design idea of tablet+combined keyboard. Google is unwilling to be left behind in the era of new form PC, and follows the pace of Microsoft and Apple to join the ranks of "2 in 1".

Google Pixel C uses a 10.2 inch LTPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2560 × 1800. The PPI is 308, and the maximum brightness of the screen is 500 nits. The machine is equipped with Tegra X1 SoC, which is known as the second generation of nuclear bombs. The chip adopts a 20 nanometer process and the maximum main frequency is 1.9GHz. The CPU part uses a combination of 4 × A57+4 × A53. In Mashable's run test, Geekbench 3 scored 1375 points for a single core and 4208 points for a multi-core.

The GPU part is Maxwell architecture, with 256 CUDA cores, and has a more brutal display performance than the previous generation of nuclear bomb Terga K1. Even today, the display performance of the GPU is still outstanding, second only to the A9X of the iPad Pro. In terms of other configurations, the machine is equipped with 3GB LPDDR4 RAM, which is available in 32G and 64G versions. The rear 8 million camera, the front 2 million camera, the battery capacity is 34.2 watt hours, the size is 242 × 179 × 7 mm, and the weight is 0.517 kg.

Of course, the highlight of this machine is that it is equipped with Google's latest Android 6.0.1 operating system, which greatly improves the experience of using Android tablets. Among the three major tablet camps, Android platform has always been the worst experience. The disunity of software and hardware, and low application quality have always been the pain of Android. Now Google is trying to improve the experience of using Android tablet. However, Pixel C still has some problems. For example, it still does not support split screen applications and can only use applications in full screen. Such a powerful hardware configuration can only be used in one application. Should Google sometimes learn from Samsung?

The connection mode between Pixel C and the keyboard is different from that of similar models. The keyboard does not use physical contacts to connect to the body, but uses Bluetooth to connect to the body. This also means that the keyboard uses battery power and needs to be charged separately, with a life of about 2 months. But don't worry too much. Google has designed wireless charging technology for this tablet, which can get power support from the tablet through wireless charging.

The machine was officially launched in Google Store on December 8. At present, it has been sold in North America, Europe and Hong Kong, The 32G version costs 499 US dollars/3888 Hong Kong dollars (about 3193 yuan), and the 64G version costs 599 US dollars (about 3834 yuan), but this does not include the price of the keyboard. If you want to buy a keyboard, you need to pay another 149 US dollars (about 953 yuan).
