There has been a new breakthrough and progress in appearance, performance and experience. The processor of YOGA 4 Pro is different from the previous generation of Core M series in that it uses the sixth generation Intel Core i series processor, which has greatly improved its performance and endurance, making the system more smooth and the battery endurance improved from 7.2 hours to 9 hours.

Like most electronic products today, paper packaging is used. It is good to match them in a simple way, dignified and steady. The combination of white on the top and orange on the bottom also makes the packaging bright and comfortable.

Small and thin, all of which must be considered when carrying around. The body thickness of YOGA 4 Pro is only 14.9mm, and the weight is only 1.29kg. It is still highly portable in the notebook industry. YOGA 4 Pro has the dual choice of i5-6200U/i7-6500U in processor, 4G/16G in memory and 256G/512G in solid-state drive. Of course, there is a gap in price.

The silver white metal shell makes the appearance beautiful and comfortable. The body edge is made of diamond shaped leather, which separates the screen from the keyboard.

The design of the back is very simple. In addition to 8 screws and four rubber pads to prevent abrasion, speakers are also equipped on the left and right.

The uniqueness continues the previous generation of watch chain type rotating shaft technology, which enables the notebook to rotate 360 degrees at will. The color of the watch chain is the same as the body. 813 parts are designed very precisely and ingeniously, and polished with special design. It is said that even women's stockings will not be broken.

It is the unique design of YOGA that makes notebook and tablet perfectly combined, and has its classic four modes: notebook mode, tablet mode, tent mode and standing mode. It seems that there is not much difference between different modes, but different modes are slightly different in different occasions, giving you the most comfortable experience and convenience.

YOGA 4 Pro continues the design of the previous generation of products in terms of interface. The power key is set on the right side of the body, which will be more applicable after deformation. The one key system restore key and rotation lock key are equipped. Any following or locking of the screen in different modes can be set by pressing the key. The difference of the orange design specifically used on the left side is that it can be used as both a USB2.0 and a power interface, which makes it more convenient and practical. It is also equipped with 2 USB 3.0 interfaces, 1 3.5mm headphone microphone jack, 1 Type-C interface and a multi-functional SD card slot.

The resolution used on this 13.3-inch IPS screen is 3200 × 1800, and the personal visual experience is very good. The details of the screen will be more realistic when playing high-quality games with high-definition video. The touch screen operation is also extremely good to touch. The finger is sensitive and convenient to click, that is, it is easy to touch fingerprints, and the screen needs to be dried frequently.

The bottom of the screen is hidden deeply, and it is not easy to see the "Lenovo" logo, Microsoft window icon, and model (900) logo. A 720P camera is set at the top of the screen.

YOGA 4 Pro uses a standard 6-line mobile phone on the keyboard. The key position is slightly compact, the surface of the key cap is coated, and the feeling of touch is relatively comfortable. The whole typing will be a little strange, but it will be much better when you start. The keys are soft, the resilience is OK, the feel is very good. The two-level backlight of the keyboard makes typing clear and easy at night. I don't think the brightness is dazzling and the display is more uniform.

The all-in-one touch control panel, coated with a skin friendly layer, feels great. The finger touch screen is simple and flexible. The metal chamfer is used in the frame to distinguish the touch control panel from the surrounding palm rest, and it is particularly elegant visually.

Irregular leather treatment is adopted in the palm rest area. While improving the hand feel, the whole area will not be too stiff. It feels comfortable and warm. It can also keep the screen clean and prevent fingerprints from leaving traces. It is neat and generous.  

On both sides of the palm rest are the familiar icons of JBL and YOGA.

[System performance]

YOGA 4 Pro's careful hardware upgrade has greatly improved its appearance design and performance strength. In terms of the system, it comes from the factory with the WIN10 system that Microsoft now highly praises. It only takes about 10 seconds to turn on and off the machine. The overall use is very fast and convenient, and the performance is obvious in terms of speed.

In the computer, you can manually click to switch between tablet mode and computer mode. The working conditions of different modes are different. It depends on your choice. As a deformation, its back and forth switching is very smooth.

GPU-Z detects that YOGA 4 PRO uses HD520 core display integrated with CPU. Image processing has been improved a step.

CINEBENCH R15.0. The test includes two items, one for the performance indicators of the processor and the other for the graphics card. The first test simply uses the CPU to render a high-precision 3D scene. It only runs once under a single processor and single thread. If the system has multiple processor cores or supports multiple threads, only one thread is used for the first time, and all processor cores and threads are used for the second run. The second test focuses on the OpenGL performance of graphics cards. CPU rendering and OpenGL yielded 14.78fps and 89cd, respectively.

In terms of hard disks, ATTO Disk Benchmark is used for testing, because many users still use the universal disk testing software.

During the use, I felt that the fever was not very obvious, which was acceptable. I felt no obvious fever for the operation of the game for a long time (try to play Wild Racing 8). However, the fever and endurance were very good for a long time when I watched the movie, and I didn't need to charge in the daytime.  

Although the operation of WIN10 is convenient and fast, some software incompatibilities still occur. Occasionally, the problem of getting stuck due to inadaptability also occurs.

There are very few pre installed software in the system, and the clean desktop has been shocked at first sight. However, as a Lenovo brand, it gives users a good impression. The built-in Harmony will make statistics on the daily patterns you are familiar with according to users' trial habits, and recommend relevant software applications according to your needs. After the humanized experience, it will support more Lenovo devices, which is equivalent to a statistical analysis of personal data.

After using it for a period of time, you can easily switch back and forth between the keyboard and the touch screen. The keyboard is very helpful when typing chat games, and the screen click back and forth to switch more easily. Lenovo YOGA 4 Pro continues the spirit of craftsmanship in the past, and embodies humanistic care and ingenuity in product design, material selection, careful components, and detail carving. A portable and thin deformation notebook, its performance has improved to a higher level in the past, without much change, but the small upgrade still has many highlights. There are still many advantages in many aspects, but I think the price is a little expensive. Many people will consider the key practicality.
