Nextbit's cloud phone Robin finally has a real phone

When December comes, just as the weather is getting colder, companies have no big news to do, and foreign people are about to spend the Christmas holiday. But Nextbit Our executives are busy. Scott Croyle, the design director, is running around the world to help his mobile phone Robin Sell advertisements for publicity.

The editor of The Verge was lucky to find Robin's engineering machine in London, indicating that this is not a crowdfunding project. The actual appearance basically reverts to the original design concept map, which is similar to the linear design of Sony Xperia series. The plastic shell is more comfortable than glass. Because it is an engineering machine, the power key is depressed, and the handle is not good. It will be improved in mass production in the future.

On the system, Robin's cloud storage function is realized: automatically find out applications and data that have not been used recently and upload them to the cloud. When users need to use them, click the icon that turns gray, and the phone will recover all data from the cloud, which can be said to be a milestone of Nextbit.

However, Robin's Android system runs slowly and has no camera function. Nextbit still needs to do a lot before shipping in January next year.
