Packaging and appearance
The entire outer package is the same as that of the previous generation. The square and upright box has an excellent texture, with ink and logo of Air Fruit on the side.
There are not many accessories, only the manual, data cable and charging plug. Compared with the previous generation, there is no small pin for resetting.
Air Fruit 1S, with aluminum alloy shell, integrated molding process and acrylic white panel, is similar to Apple's product temperament at first glance. The acrylic panel is embedded with a 24 × 16 LED dot matrix display, and the breathing light is upgraded from the original red, yellow and blue to support RGB color mode. This panel is also the only button of Air Fruit 1S, and it feels very good through actual measurement.

App functions and usage
The Air Fruit 1S is an intelligent hardware, and the supporting App must be indispensable. As a master of inkblot, it is no problem to use inkblot weather directly, but for a better experience, it is recommended to download a special application of Air Fruit.
The first time you use it, you need to make a simple match with the Kongo 1S. When matching, it is recommended to double click the Kongo screen after entering the Wi Fi password, and then click the Connect button, so that the matching speed and success rate will be improved.
The whole app has few functions. Users can set the broadcast volume of Airborne 1S through the app, automatically detect the interval, view the detected relevant data, and share to social networks.

Measured results
According to the official data, there is not much change in the measuring range accuracy between the Airborne 1S and the previous generation of sensors. However, the internal fan of Airborne 1S uses the SEPA magnetic suspension fan with higher cost, which can effectively reduce the noise, provide a stable air flow for the PM2.5 sensor, and ensure the accuracy of the sensor. The noise during actual operation is almost negligible, and you need to put your ear close to the vent to hear it. In addition, in terms of power management and charging, Air Cube 1S uses TI's high-efficiency chip, and the charging time is stable at about 4 hours. The low-power design has improved the endurance of Air Cube by more than three times, from the previous networking time of about 12 hours to about 48 hours.
Of course, in addition to the improvement of hardware, there is also a bright spot that cannot be ignored. It is understood that Air Cube 1S is opening up the Internet of Things and will serve as the entrance of smart home in the future to provide more accurate and humanized management solutions in improving indoor air quality.
The PM2.5 sensor should be the model customized by ink and manufacturer, and the detection principle is to use laser scattering; The carbon dioxide sensor comes from Sweden's SensorAir, which is a rare single channel design in the industry. In actual use, the air cone 1S detection speed is good. During the test, the indoor carbon dioxide concentration is high, and the surrounding breathing lights flash from blue to yellow. The App will also receive a push to remind the user of the need for ventilation. Blow air into the air vent at the back, and it reached 9999 in an instant. The sensitivity is still very high.

As for the detection of PM2.5, because the haze in Shenzhen is not serious, it is impossible to test the situation of exceeding the standard, and the reading jumps between 20 and 60, so you can only manually light a cigarette to test. It can be seen that the breathing light turns red at this time, reminding that the concentration has endangered human health. But the upper limit of PM2.5 index is 500, which may not be enough for people in the capital recently.
You can also see the overall trend of various data in the App. From the screenshot, we can see that the PM2.5 value in the office this morning is slightly higher, and the concentration of carbon dioxide suddenly rises between 4:00 and 5:00 (because of the test). The temperature and humidity can also be viewed. It is a very good function for data control.
During use, the dot matrix screen of the Airborne 1S is clearly visible, not dazzling, and comfortable to look at. It has its own 2000 mAh battery, which can work off the power supply. From 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. the next day, about 60% of the power is lost, which can meet daily use. However, considering the ST's Cortex-M4 processor and LED dot matrix display, we should be able to do better in terms of power consumption.
