Compared with the X5Max, the X5Max platinum version only has a change in the thickness of the body, from 4.75mm to 7.29mm. There is no change in other aspects, and the difference between the two can hardly be seen from the front.

The back is still VIVO's classic three-stage design. There are many people complaining about this design. I can't say I like it or don't like it. The metal part on the back is very light gold. Is platinum such a light gold.

The front doesn't use 2.5D glass, which is popular this year. It doesn't feel so harmonious. It's like getting used to chilli and not feeling any problem. Suddenly, when there is no chilli, the food will taste less.

The metal frame is narrower than the phone body. From the side, the screen, frame and back of the phone are separated, so the overall feeling is not very strong.

Due to the increase of the thickness of the mobile phone, the hand holding of the mobile phone does not have the exquisite feeling that previous vivo mobile phones should have, but has a kind of dull and clumsy feeling.

It can be seen from the headphone jack that the metal frame probably follows the design of the X5Max. The battery capacity is simply increased by increasing the thickness of the body, without any treatment on the metal frame.

Thanks to the increased thickness of the fuselage, the rear camera is finally no longer prominent, so don't worry about the rear camera being worn out again.

Recently, we have been using Huawei's P8Max, which is also a large battery. Huawei's P8Max has taken the path of large screen, and the platinum version of X5Max has taken the path of increasing the thickness. As the P8Max follows the large screen route, the thickness of the body can be controlled very well. I prefer the P8Max processing method. The X5Max platinum version lacks a sense of refinement after being thick.
