When I came into contact with Airou, I was shocked by its huge size. At present, few domestic routers are so large. So I was curious and took Airou apart. Airou is fixed by two self tapping screws and buckles. Comparatively speaking, Airou is relatively easy to disassemble, but you must pay attention to the buckles of its shell. However, the author does not recommend this, because the main use of Love Route is to restrict children's Internet access.

Love Routing itself does not support web design, In addition to designing the connection mode of the Internet, the web can only see the basic information of the router, so Love Routing can not be completely separated from the use of APP. In some ways, it is beneficial to limit children's random modifications, but its practical significance is not great. Therefore, it is recommended to open the web settings function to allow users to set a variety of options. The APP registration method of AliCloud is basically similar to that of other products, and will not be detailed here. Due to the problem of usage habits, the author often limits some permissions required by the app. For AliCloud, because of the restrictions on reading the mobile phone ID code, the author could not search the router at the beginning of use. Finally, after opening this function, the router was connected successfully.

Like normal routers, AliCloud provides three connection modes: broadband dialing, static IP and dynamic IP. However, for student users, there may be some problems in using AliCloud in schools. AliCloud also does not have authentication methods such as Ruijie. The settings of Airou are basically the same as those of ordinary routers, but it lacks some advanced functions. However, the network optimization scanning and network optimization functions provided by the router are quite good. AliCloud has QoS intelligent speed limit function, which is one of the few advanced functions.

The main function of Airou is to set children's Internet access. It has free mode, learning mode and time mode. Free mode can set restrictions on certain types of Internet access, such as restricting games, web pages or stocks.

After the learning mode is enabled, the Internet will automatically enter the learning page provided by AliCloud, which provides rich learning functions and is of great benefit to children. Time mode, you can set the time period allowed to access the Internet.

In order to further verify the signal strength of Airou, the author carried out some simple tests. The house in the figure is a room with three rooms, two bathrooms and two halls, and the router is placed at position 1. The signal strength test corresponds to the corresponding positions one by one.

The first test is pregnant mode test, which is also the lowest power consumption setting according to the name. In the figure, the red test is the transparent geek version of the magic bean router, and the test is the love route. The signal strength of the magic bean router has been kept at 100% without setting. You can visually see the signal comparison between the two routers. In the pregnant mode, the signal strength of AliCloud is significantly lower than that of the magic bean router. However, this is not meaningful. After all, the magic bean router has 100% signal strength. As can be seen from the figure, the signal strength of AliCloud is also good in the pregnant mode.

Under the balanced signal strength, from the perspective of the graph range, the trend is still similar to that of the pregnant women mode, but the overall signal is slightly worse. However, the wifi signal of the author is also a bit complex. As can be seen from the figure above, it can be said that the pollution of wifi and personal sense have become somewhat serious.

In the wall crossing mode, the signals of the two routers are slightly worse., But on the whole, the difference between the two routers is very small, and they are basically consistent. Therefore, under the full signal setting, the signal gap between routers is very small, but it should also be noted that there is still room for further improvement of the signal strength of Airou.

The above figure shows the visual image of the signal strength of Airou in three modes: through the wall mode, balanced mode and pregnant mode. The test is conducted at a distance of one meter. It can be seen that the signal strength of the two routers is basically the same in the through the wall mode. However, due to too many interference signals, the test of the wifi analyzer can only be used as an intuitive reference, and can not determine which router.

After nearly a week's use, the author believes that the QoS function of Airou is good, which has a certain effect on network restrictions. At the same time, the learning mode of Airou is a very good function, which can be used to urge children to learn; It can intelligently identify all kinds of applications, and at the same time, it is convenient and effective to set the function of limiting the Internet access for an application alone; At the same time, you can set separate restrictions on games, web pages, stocks, etc. to meet the needs of daily network use. However, the author believes that there is still much work to be done by AliCloud.

1. At present, there are still some deviations in the identification of applications, sometimes the APP is identified incorrectly, or many APPs cannot be identified normally;

2. The website you know is not handled well. The author tried to use the most popular 1024 test, and found that Love Route could not intercept it. Love Route needs to further increase the determination conditions to meet children's online needs;

3. It is suggested to open the setting mode of WEB. At present, the setting must basically be in the mobile app. Once the mobile phone has no power or is not in hand, it is basically impossible to change the setting, which will affect the experience effect to a certain extent;

4. The accuracy of the broadband speed measurement function of app needs to be improved, which is slightly different from that of speedtest;

5. It is a pity that the APP cannot be used normally when the mobile phone ID is restricted. At present, many products require multiple permissions for the APP, and the author may be sensitive to this;

6. The APP occasionally flashes back. The author's mobile phone is the Yunos 3.0.2 system. However, due to occasional flash back, the author also failed to accurately locate the problem.

For a child safety router, Airou is still very good. After Airou further improves its functions, there will be greater room for progress. Let's look forward to it together.
