What we got was the retail Z5 Compact in Hong Kong, model E5823, which was not launched by the Bank of China before the deadline.

The package is still the white flat paper box of Sony in the past, and the front of the package is a rendering of the product.

There are some parameters of the product on the back of the package. We can see that Xperia Z5 Compact has four colors: white, red, yellow and black. We get red.

The first layer of packaging is the mobile phone, which has been seen in many Sony products in the past.

A very detailed description was included in the package. Of course, there is no shortage of "old three" earphones. The earphones are equipped with flat plugs. Because they are Hong Kong versions, they use the power adapter of British plugs.

Unfortunately, the equipped power adapter does not support fast charging, only 5V==1.5A, which makes people feel like "clearing inventory". In fact, after our actual measurement, Xperia Z5 Compact supports QC2.0 fast charging.

The front of the fuselage is still in the style of Xperia Z series, and the virtual key design is used, so the "chin" will be wider than the "forehead", which is slightly unnatural when the screen is turned off.

The back is a layer of "frosted glass" with a strong sense of plastic. This design is the same as its second brother, Xperia Z5.

In the eyes of many people, the biggest highlight of Sony's mobile phone is the camera. Xperia Z5 uses a new 23 megapixel IMX300 sensor, F2.0 aperture, and Sony's "G" lens, equipped with a led fill light.

There are power button, volume button and photo entity button on the right side of the fuselage, and the power button has fingerprint identification function. This design is rare, but the volume button is placed below the power button, which is slightly inconvenient to use.

Fingerprint identification is placed on the right side of the fuselage, so it is easier to use the right hand to hold the device. When the screen is locked, it cannot be unlocked through fingerprint identification. You need to click the home button power screen once.

The left hand holds the machine in a relatively awkward position, but the index finger can also be unlocked in this way.

On the left side of the fuselage are Xperia's logo, card slot and lanyard hole. Sony is still working hard on the waterproof and lanyard hole.

The card slot looks very complex. It supports microSD card expansion and has a SIM card slot.

It supports one NanoSIM card, and the port version supports FDD-LTE, WCDMA and GSM networks.

The bottom is equipped with a microUSB port and a microphone. Although the USB port is exposed, it is still waterproof. Sony has not introduced USB Type-C interface with the trend. From this point of view, it can also be seen that Xperia Z5 Compact is relatively thick and looks fleshy, with a thickness of 8.9mm.

On the top is a noise reducing microphone and a 3.5mm headphone connector.

In terms of system, Sony still continues the style of native Android, so it is not unexpected to use it, but it makes people feel weak.

Like native Android, the system retains the design of the secondary menu, and the style of the drop-down bar has not changed much.

The menu is also very similar to the layout of native Android, but the color matching and icons are still changed. The system is based on Android 5.1.1.

In terms of running points, Xperia Z5 Compact has a low resolution, so Anthare will get high scores. In terms of configuration, its short board is that it only uses 2G memory, which is a bit stingy compared with other flagship mobile phones that often use 3G or even 4G memory. The Snapdragon 810 and 32G Rom are mainstream configurations.

From the initial experience, Xperia Z5 Compact is suitable for users who have a strong preference for "small screen" phones. After all, not everyone likes the 5.5 inch to 6 inch large screen. From the configuration level, Xperia Z5 Compact is a flagship configuration in all aspects except for its small memory. In particular, the rear camera is the highlight of the whole machine.
