Many people around us have mobile phones with less than 8GB even with a memory card 16GB, which is hard to use in daily life. A few movies and one game memory are not enough. Don't worry about this problem now. The product that I'm taking you to experience today is specially launched to meet the needs of users with insufficient memory.

This time, the author received a relatively thorough engineering machine, including none, so this evaluation does not involve the outer packaging of the product, and the product side also did not provide relevant accessories, so there is no description of accessories. In fact, the accessories needed for this product is also a MicroUSB data cable, which everyone must have, and even if it is not provided, it will not affect the use.

The size of Liuyun charging wireless storage is not large but not small, with a width of 6mm, a length of 140mm and a height of 1mm. The logo and EleCloud name of the product are printed on the lower right corner of the product. On the back of the product, it is written that the prototype of this evaluation is NOT FOR SALE, which is not for sale. It is an engineering prototype, which also shows the care of the manufacturer. Generally, the shell of the product is rarely marked with non sale products, but it is generally described through paper packaging.

The upper right corner of the product is the product switch, through which the wireless function of Liuyun can be turned on. When it is normally used as a power bank, it can be directly plugged in for output without pressing this switch. Similarly, when connecting the computer as USB storage, the switch does not need to be pressed, and the USB storage can be used to connect the computer normally only when the computer is turned off.

An LED indicator light is provided at the upper right corner to show the wireless status of Liuyun and mark the wireless transmission signal.

Liuyun wireless storage provides a USB output port and a Mirco USB charging port, which is more consistent with the use requirements of current power bank products. At the same time, MicroUSB, like mobile phones, is also used for data connection, which is quite different from ordinary power bank products.

Four LEDs are provided beside the MicroUSB to indicate the power of the power bank and display when charging.

Compared with the 5.2 inch vivo X5Pro, the streaming cloud wireless storage is about the same size, but slightly narrower.

As an intelligent device, Liuyun is also equipped with APP for its function expansion. Like other APPs for the first time, Liuyun provides introduction and navigation of basic functions. It can be used as wireless storage, as well as as a charging bank for mobile phones or other digital devices, and can share content with friends at any time. This is especially useful for watching a TV play or something together on the journey.

At present, the app of StreamCloud is relatively simple. It mainly consists of three major parts: the top level power display function, and the file in the StreamCloud, namely the power file. This is the content stored in the StreamCloud. It also shows the content downloaded to the mobile phone by the user through the StreamCloud and the local file of the mobile phone. The power supply provides statistics on the number of mobile phone charges, but unfortunately it is not possible to set its own mobile phone battery capacity here, and the judgment of Liuyun itself is inevitable and inaccurate, so it is a little pity. For example, the power of the author's mobile phone can be charged about two to three times, and only one time is displayed. In terms of charging, the charging time can be determined by charging current, so it is relatively accurate. In terms of settings, StreamCloud is also very simple, basically setting the ssid and password shared by wifi.

By copying files from a computer or mobile phone to Liuyun, pictures can be automatically classified into the Picture folder of Liuyun, but the txt document downloaded by the author is not directly classified. It is located outside of it, so it is estimated that there may be some problems in judging the file type. The author copied a played avi file on the computer, and it can be seen that it can be played directly through the streaming cloud. There is a play button next to the video file, so that the author can easily use the streaming cloud to manage movies, TV dramas or variety shows anytime and anywhere, without occupying the memory of the author's mobile phone.

If you use a laptop to connect to StreamCloud, StreamCloud also provides an IP access mode. Enter 8.8.8.8 to automatically enter the system of StreamCloud. You can see that the default two major modules of StreamCloud are video and pictures, which also shows that its sharing function is the most important, and then provides the file management function.

Click the picture to see the video and picture functions. Click a picture at random, you can directly open the picture in the cloud online, which is very convenient, without having to download it and watch it again, so you can easily select the picture you need to download.

File management is to manage streaming cloud as a way similar to network hard disk, but faster. The author copied a video file, and the speed is still good.

StreamCloud adopts the USB2.0 mode. From the hdtune professional test software, it can be seen that both reading and writing are basically consistent with the general USB 2.0 USB flash drive, which guarantees the speed of data copying when connecting to computers. Since the daily use of Liuyun is to carry it out or to use it as a backup storage without a network, the author believes that it is unnecessary to conduct professional tests on its wifi signal strength, because the 2.4G wireless communication distance is enough to meet the daily use of users without excessive transmission power.

Summary:

After a period of use, the author found that the use of streaming cloud wireless storage is relatively simple and efficient. It is more suitable for sharing and enjoying movies, videos and other streaming media files when going out, and it is also suitable for transferring beautiful photos that the author's mobile phone cannot store to streaming cloud. However, the author believes that there are several problems with streaming cloud, I hope the manufacturer can improve:

1. If the wifi cannot be shared, it does not have the function of wifi relay, that is, if the streaming cloud is connected with wifi, it cannot continue to use wifi to access the Internet, which affects the use. If the relay can be used in the external network, and the local function is used to read the streaming cloud, the writer thinks it will be very good;

2. It has the online function of video, but the document class cannot be used online, which is slightly inconvenient. If text and video can be used online directly, it would be better;

3. If the streaming cloud can be connected to the user's home wifi network through its own wifi to realize wireless download function, the utilization efficiency of the streaming cloud will be higher;

4. As a wireless storage sharing, in the current situation of large data and large storage, the capacity of only 16GB is obviously too small. The author believes that at least 32G should be started, otherwise, it is not as large as the capacity of the tf card in the hands of users, and it will lose its practical use value;

5. During the charging process, the author found that the heat generated by the cloud is relatively large and concentrated near the circuit, which may have a certain impact on the life of the product. It is suggested to fully consider the design of heat dissipation to achieve better use effect;

6. Although the speed of USB2.0 is OK, it is recommended to upgrade to 32G, 64G, or even 128G when USB3.0 is popular.
