Speaking of smart devices, I believe everyone will think of smart phones, smart watches and other products. Have you heard of "smart mouse"? What we bring today is from Sky E-sports brand of Titanium degree Mouse under the banner:
Speaking of the e-sports mouse, I believe everyone's first impression will be Logitech, Razer, Steelseries and other famous products. As a retired player, Sky has launched its own e-sports brand Tidu, and this mouse is also the first product of this brand. What will its actual performance be? In addition to its own performance, as a "smart mouse", where is its intelligence reflected? This is the puzzle we want to solve for you in this experience.
Packaging and appearance
Titanium mouse The outer package design of black paper box is adopted, and there is only one brand logo on the package, which is very simple.
There are some main hardware parameters on the back, using Anhuagao A9800 laser engine (8200DPI), Omron 20 million times (Omron 7N 20M) click inching, and 8MB storage space. In particular, the titanium mouse has Bluetooth 4.0, heart rate sensor, gravity sensor and other hardware that would not normally appear on the mouse.
Open the package and you can see the mouse on the first floor. Slogan is "born for E-sports".
The second layer of packaging is related accessories.
The accessories are very simple, a user guide and a data cable.
The data cable of the titanium mouse is detachable. The mouse end is connected to a microUSB. Although the interface is relatively common, not every data cable can be used on the mouse because the hole on the mouse is narrow.
There are claw marks on the plug of standard USB port.
The size of the mouse itself is moderate, and users with large hands may like to grasp it. The surface of the white mouse is bright baking varnish.
There are two side keys on the left, and the heart rate sensor and led light are below, which can be seen that it is a right hand dedicated mouse.
The connector location on the top of the mouse.
There are also three rows of led lights on the right side of the mouse.
The scroll wheel is designed in gray and has a large width. There is a dpi switch button below.
There is a groove at the tail of the mouse to facilitate the removal of the top cover.
After disassembly, it can be seen that the top cover is absorbed by magnets.
Internal structure diagram after disassembling the shell.
The left and right mouse skirts are also installed on the mouse using magnets, which is very convenient to replace.
The rainbow light effect after removing the side skirt.
There are four black footpads at the bottom, and the laser engine is in the middle.
In particular, the four footpads of the titanium mouse use magnets to absorb, which is easy to remove and replace. Compared with the general double-sided adhesive tape, it will be more user-friendly.
The titanium mouse with different shells and foot pads can create a variety of different "DIY" feel, which players can match by themselves.
The mouse model is TSG600, and the rated working specification is 5V==300mA.
We also got the black version of the titanium mouse. The black version uses ordinary plastic materials, but the functions of the two are exactly the same. Users who like the bright color may prefer white. The disadvantage is that it will be difficult to clean the bright finish after it is stained with oil. Black is relatively easy to manage, but it lacks characteristics in appearance.
The design of interchangeable housing is also adopted.
Titanium will also introduce different types of housings and foot pads in the future. The super slippery foot pad is suitable for matching with the metal mouse pad for MOBA games such as League of Heroes.
Light effects
The titanium mouse has up to 22 RGB full-color LED lights, which can be matched with a variety of light effects. The following are some display of light effects:
Intelligent application
Compared with other e-sports mice, the biggest feature of the titanium mouse is that it is a very "smart" product, which is mainly reflected in two aspects. One is that the hardware uses gravity sensors and heart rate sensors, and the other is that the software has rich statistical and detection functions, which are difficult to see on other mice. Compared with the traditional game mouse, another feature of the titanium mouse is that there is no "driver" on the PC side, and the relevant settings are completed on the mobile phone. Using the 8M storage space on the mouse, the corresponding configuration will follow the mouse "plug and play".
PS: For the following experience, we all used the latest 1.0.9 mobile app before the deadline.
As soon as you enter the titanium mouse application, the first thing you see is the test data during the game. The application uses blue as the background, and its functions are clear at a glance. Different data tests are conducted for RTS, MOBA and FPS game types. The test will record the player's heartbeat and APM (hand speed, the number of effective operations per minute). Each time you enter the application, you will count the distance moved and the number of clicks since the last time you entered the application, as well as the total distance moved and the number of clicks.
Test the process of hand speed and heartbeat and display the results.
For the ranking of players and hand speed, it can be arranged according to the single game and game type. In order to enhance the interaction of players, community content is also set in the application, allowing players to communicate here.
As for the hardware settings of the mouse itself, the titanium mouse can be described as "more" and "less". "more" is reflected in the rich LED light settings, which can set colorful light effects. There are 22 RGB full-color lights on the mouse, which can definitely be described as "bright blind". In the mobile phone application, you can set the light color, brightness, breathing light, and the effect of gradient and rainbow mode. Compared with the "crazy drag cool" LED lights, there are few settings for the use of the mouse, only the settings for the DPI of the mouse, but the common settings for the acceleration of the mouse, the USB report rate, the key functions, and so on are missing. As a product of positioning e-sports mouse, this is really a bit inappropriate.
Hand feel and others
As a main E-sports game, the touch is of course a very important part. The titanium mouse has made a lot of feel optimization for oriental players, which is relatively comfortable on the whole. The center of gravity of the mouse is behind the center, which can give better support to the center of the palm. Maybe the author's hand is relatively large, so I think it is appropriate to use the "grip" mouse with titanium degree. In terms of size, the titanium mouse is somewhat similar to the Kinzu of SteelSeries, but it is heavier in weight and less flexible. It can be seen that the titanium mouse is designed to give consideration to the pursuit of flexible RTS and the relative need for stable FPS games. It will be more omnivorous in use.
In terms of the touch of keys, the left and right keys are crisp and rebound quickly, showing a layout of high left and low right. Although it seems a bit moderate visually, the touch is still in place. Maybe due to the excessive pursuit of innovation in shell replacement, the titanium mouse we got in the white model (the black model is not so obvious) is slightly inconsistent in the feel of the left and right buttons. Maybe this structure requires too much quality control. The side keys use patch type inching, which has a relatively general feel and gives people a feeling of looseness. The middle key inching uses Omron's 7N inching, which is a rare material on the middle key. Of course, the feel is also well guaranteed.
We also tested the straight-line and "mosquito repellent incense map" of the titanium mouse, and it can be seen that there is no straight-line correction.
In terms of refresh rate, it can't be set manually in the application of titanium degree. From the numerical value, it is 1000Hz, and the performance is still stable.
summary
From the perspective of use, the performance of the titanium mouse is still worthy of recognition. The excellent ergonomic design and comfortable grip leave us a good impression. The materials used for laser engine and button inching are sincere. As far as the performance of a game mouse is concerned, our evaluation of the titanium mouse is excellent. Titanium has made many attempts in lighting, shell replacement and intelligent modules, and these additional functions have also brought some small problems. However, in general, the shortcomings do not outweigh the shortcomings, which has brought us many new use experiences, especially the gorgeous lighting effects that attract the eyes. However, some statistics on player data may not play a significant role for ordinary users. From this point, it can be seen that it is for e-sports. As the first product of TiDu, the TiDu mouse is commendable in all aspects, but the price of 299 yuan is also a high-end product, which may be a little high for ordinary players.
