Various smart watches emerged one after another, and many traditional watch manufacturers also joined in the scuffle. At that time, the market was surging. Jinbaida, a domestic watch manufacturer, has taken a different approach, combined with years of production and design experience of traditional watches, and integrated mainstream smart watch functions such as step recording, reminding, heart rate testing, etc. on the basis of quartz watches, and launched a new PlusWatch smart watch in 2015. The author was lucky to get the PlusWatch smart watch and had a comprehensive experience. Next, the author will show the appearance and functions of this watch from multiple perspectives.

① Unpacking

When I get the watch, the first impression is that there are two words: tradition.

The PlusWatch adopts a more traditional packaging design, and its overall appearance is simple and generous, with only the English name and logo of the watch on the front.

After removing the outer paper packaging of the watch's packaging box, the internal packaging box is more high-end, and the golden logo is very beautiful.

Open the box and you can see the PlusWatch at a glance. Although the internal packaging is still traditional, the charging plug on the side indicates that this is not an ordinary quartz watch, but a brand new smart watch.

② Appearance function

Before the official evaluation, the author actually loved PlusWatch because its appearance was so beautiful!

What I got this time is the [Business Black] style, in addition to fashion grey, silver steel color, and Tuhao gold. From the front, the watch uses tempered glass with diamond film, which is more wear-resistant and scratch resistant. The surface of the glass is slightly convex, and the inner circle looks light blue from the side, which is extremely exquisite. The watch case is made of 316L stainless steel and adopts CNC processing technology. For a traditional manufacturer, the workmanship is a strong point, and it really shows incisively and vividly on the appearance of the watch.

Below the watch, there is a 0.69 inch OLED display screen, marking the identity of the product's smart watch!

The PlusWatch is very ingenious in design. When the OLED display screen is not lit, the dial is silent black, which is just a wonderful quartz watch when viewed from the outside.

Fine workmanship almost runs through the whole process. The strap is made of superior cowhide, which is soft and comfortable.

All operations of the PlusWatch are concentrated on these three keys. The middle knob is responsible for adjusting the clock, and the upper and lower keys are used to display various functions of the OLED screen.

The 41MM dial is a relatively moderate size, so it is unnecessary to distinguish between men and women, and the wearer will be more beautiful. The hands of the watch are powered by quartz, which can normally last for 3 years. The OLED screen is powered by a separate magnetic adsorption charger.

The back of the watch has a heart rate sensor; This function is only available for high-end smart watches. PlusWatch, which focuses on health, has taken the lead in using it.

③ Function Usage

The author has worked in the office for a long time and often edited words. In the past, he used to wear a mechanical watch+intelligent bracelet for a long time. The biggest disadvantage is that wearing a bracelet in a watch increases the burden. However, the lightweight PlusWatch solves this problem perfectly.

Thanks to the Swiss 763 chip used in the product, the watch responds quickly. The delicate OLED screen, together with patterns and text, allows users to easily read relevant data (from top left to bottom right, in order of date, status, calories, mileage, steps, heart rate).

APP use:

In fact, I didn't expect much from the use of APP, because Jinbaida is a traditional company after all. However, the real use has made the author's eyes shine.

First, the software is available for download in IOS and Android versions. This is great. The customer use group covers almost all smartphone users.

Secondly, the software is very simple and easy to understand, and the link with the watch and data transmission are very fast.

Social notifications on mobile phones need to be manually enabled. When the author actually uses the call, WeChat and other reminder functions, we all know that they are very timely, reaching the current level of staying bracelets and watches.

Interestingly, the watch data report is presented in the form of icons, which is not only beautiful, but also more intuitive. This is even more powerful for PlusWatch, which focuses on health functions.

When the software is used, the resident status will be displayed in the notification bar.

Heart rate test is very simple, and can quickly read heart rate data after opening; It is needless to say that this function is practical. In addition, it is surprising that the watch can display the number of incoming calls, but there is no caller name data. However, limited to the screen size of the watch, social software such as WeChat cannot display content; The vibrating motor of the watch vibrates moderately, and it will not appear too abrupt when reminding.

④ Summary

The author loves the appearance of the watch, but loves it more because of its function. It can be said that, as the title of the author said, the exquisite appearance of the watch, together with the intelligent movement, heart rate detection, dual power supply system and a standby capacity of up to one week, are enough to defeat many mainstream smart watches. Admittedly, the watch's small OLED has relatively limited functions at present, but the author believes that it is much stronger than the non screen design adopted by some smart watches with similar designs, such as indicator lights.

Perhaps, with the progress and development of technology, the designers of PlusWatch will continue to optimize PlusWatch, and may develop more types of products. However, for the first smart watch of a traditional manufacturer, the author is very satisfied with the watch's almost defect free performance.
