Like Yahoo's promotional image, Aviate has a very simple basic desktop layout, with only a row of common program icons at the bottom and reminders on the left and right desktops at the top. We can switch to the other two desktops by sliding or clicking.
If you don't like wallpapers as much as the author, you can also add multiple widgets to the basic desktop. Of course, you need to match it well, otherwise, the beauty of small parts with uneven layers is as shown in the figure above.
As a Flickr enabled Yahoo, its launcher is certainly a wallpaper maniac. In addition to bringing N wallpapers for users to choose when using it for the first time, you can draw on the smart assistant interface to open the cover image, and directly click Set Wallpaper to automatically download and set it as wallpaper.
Aviate also has a function different from other initiators. It slides up from the bottom edge to pull out frequently used contacts and recent contacts. It is very convenient to dial quickly.
Although it is called an intelligent assistant, Aviate Launcher has not abandoned the traditional application drawer, but has made some innovations in the traditional application drawer, which we can barely call "intelligent classification". Right stroke to enter the application drawer interface, Aviate has two layers of application drawers. The first layer is Aviate's intelligent classification automatically generated according to the application type and use frequency. The author's application drawers are automatically classified into "social networking, photography, productivity, utilities, transportation, entertainment, and learning". Aviate will automatically rank the most frequently used applications in the forefront according to the use frequency. Click the arrow at the top right corner of the classification card to display all applications of the classification.
Right click again in the intelligent classification interface to enter all application interfaces in alphabetical order similar to Action Launcher.
The biggest feature of Yahoo Aviate is the "Smart Assistant Desktop", which is accessed from the left stroke of the basic desktop. Different from the conventional desktop, Aviate Smart Assistant is somewhat similar to the design of Google Now launcher, which is accessed from the left stroke of "Search&Now". Aviate Smart Assistant provides six different scene modes in Chinese: "Set, Today, Mobile, Listening, Company, and Near". Taking the morning work time as an example, the Smart Assistant will provide the date and time of the day, alarm clock, calendar events, weather, news, etc., which are all presented in a card format similar to Google Now. Users can also add categories according to their own needs. For example, on the bus, the author likes to see the circle of friends or browse the microblog, just add the "social" category to "today" You can quickly call social applications.
In addition to adding application categories, we can also add the widgets we need in different scene modes. Taking the working mode as an example, in addition to the productivity category and utility category, you can also add Wunderlist and impression note widgets to quickly manage GTD and improve operation efficiency.
Speaking of this, you can ask, isn't it scene mode switching? Where is its "intelligent assistant"? Don't worry. In addition to manual mode switching, Aviate also has a learning function. After a period of use, the intelligent assistant will judge the user's use environment according to time and geographical location, and then automatically switch the scene mode. For example, when I was waiting for the bus when I left the door in the morning, I entered the "today" mode to provide various advice. When I arrive at the company, the intelligent assistant will automatically switch to the "unit" mode and provide various productivity tools. Like Google Now, after a long time of use, Yahoo Smart Assistant will become more and more suitable for our use habits.
Smart assistant in nearby mode will provide popular recommendations based on geographical location. Because its built-in positioning is based on Google Maps, so... the offset is moving.
