On May 15, Xiaomi Company officially released its first tablet computer, Xiaomi Tablet, and the new Xiaomi TV 2. The former has Tegra K1 processor that shames all competitors, while the latter is Xiaomi's first 4K screen TV. What new feelings will these two new products bring to us? We went to the press conference to experience it first.
From the front, the Xiaomi tablet is not very different from ordinary tablets. Of course, there is a landmark "mi" logo on the upper left corner. Due to the design of the ultra narrow border, the Xiaomi tablet does not look like some Android tablets are bloated ▼
From this photo, there is an LED signal light on the right side of the logo and three touch keys with white backlight below the Xiaomi tablet, which is very similar to the layout of the Xiaomi mobile phone. However, the Xiaomi tablet has no menu key, but is replaced by a multi task key, which also conforms to the Android virtual key specification ▼
Xiaomi tablet has a 5 megapixel front camera in the center of the top, and the sensor is made by OV ▼
The back of Xiaomi flat plate is designed with high gloss plastic and has a colorful back cover for selection ▼
Rear 8 megapixel camera, sensor provided by Sony ▼
On the right side of the fuselage are the volume key and the switch key. From this angle, we can see that the millet tablet is thin, and its thickness is 8.5mm ▼
The processing of the fuselage corners is very smooth ▼
There are two speakers at the bottom, and the body has a microUSB interface, which also supports OTG expansion ▼
There is a 3.5mm headphone connector ▼ on the top of the fuselage
Xiaomi tablet uses MIUI tablet optimization version, and the system does not have the design of secondary menu ▼
The system is based on Android 4.4.2, the kernel version is 3.10.24, and the version number is relatively new ▼
The setting option is a standard Android tablet style, which is displayed in two columns ▼
There is no ART mode ▼ in developer options
Multi task management is displayed in card format. You can close the task by drawing it up. One click task cleaning ▼ is supported
File manager of the system ▼
System's own album ▼
The camera provided by the system has not many functions, only the selection of filter ▼
The Xiaomi tablet uses a new Tegra K1 processor. The CPU consists of four Cortex-A15, and the frequency reaches 2.2GHz, bringing crazy processing performance. The GPU is a new Geforce ULP of Kepler architecture, supporting advanced technologies such as OpenGL 4.4 and OpenGL ES 3.1. This SoC is too new, and some detection software may have incorrect configuration information ▼
The screen resolution is the same as that of iPad mini2, 2048 * 1536, and the usable ROM of the machine body exceeds 12G ▼
From the CPU information detection of Anthare, we can see that two or three cores of the quad core Cortex-A15 will be in the sleep state under daily use ▼
With the introduction of PC level architecture GPU, Tegra K1 can show more details and more realistic scenarios ▼
Finally, we present some photos of Xiaomi TV 2 released together with the Xiaomi tablet. Since the site only provides display, we will have a more in-depth experience after the availability of the evaluation machine:
