Vision Ears (split from the original Compact Monitors into the current rhines and Vision Ears) is a famous German customized brand. Auditory sense
First of all, let's talk about the matching problem. VE4 has high requirements on the front end. It is not easy to think of good sound for mobile phones and small walkmans. The author tried to use the current top quality mobile phone Xplay3S to match, and the voice also felt unable to open, especially the low-frequency control was disappointing, so the listening sense part of this article was matched with the famous "National Brick" DX100, and compared with the headset NT-6 Pro (the comparison here was slightly unfair, NT-6 Pro was matched with crystal color standard wire with high quality).
The audition tracks are mainly popular vocals, and there are some acg, rock and live music.
First of all, as soon as the sound is turned on, the VE4 gives a deep impression of low frequency, majesty and sound. The rumored super sound field is also a sharp weapon on the sound of VE4. In addition to these, in fact, VE4 gives more impression of the overall timbre control, or we should say that its sound completion is extremely high. Let's talk about the sound characteristics of VE4 in detail:
Low frequency : The low frequency of VE4 gives people a very thick feeling. The low frequency measurement is the type of excessive, and the high-density sound also makes the overall performance of low frequency more brilliant. Compared with the NT-6 Pro, the VE4 is slightly inferior in low-frequency speed, but it has a stronger sense of dive and volume than the NT-6 Pro.
intermediate frequency : The intermediate frequency is a link that impressed the author deeply. Before hearing the voice of VE4, some players who have heard the male model of VE4 rated it as classic blockbuster, but their voice performance seems to be not highly rated. However, the actual listening sense of the author is somewhat different from the evaluation of these players. VE4's mid-range thickness and excellent line portrayal make it show strong strength in the mid-range. The voice of VE4 is warm, round and has special penetration. Compared with the NT-6 Pro, the voice of the VE4 is obviously closer and has a stronger sense of encirclement. Of course, there is a big difference in style between the two. VE4 is more excellent in male voice, especially suitable for listening to some thick, magnetic male voices. The intermediate frequency of NT-6 Pro is weaker than that of VE4, but it is not useless. When listening to some female voices, the author prefers the feeling of NT-6 Pro. Although the voice is a little distant and thin, the thin and clear intermediate frequency can sometimes be very attractive. Tooth sound has always been a minor problem of NT-6 Pro, especially when the front end is not well matched, which is prone to serious tooth sound, while VE4's tooth sound can be heard but will not be harsh.
high frequency : The high frequency of VE4 is slightly darker. The high frequency is smooth and not stimulating. However, we can still hear good high frequency details from VE4. The bright style and excellent analysis of the NT-6 Pro make its treble very distinctive, and its high-frequency extension is more powerful than the VE4.
analysis : If it is not for AB comparison, the analysis of VE4 is already satisfactory, but the NT-6 Pro with the Standard line is a bit excessive in this respect, and the information content is more abundant than that of VE4. But in terms of comfort, the slightly less violent analysis of VE4 sounds more natural.
Tri frequency connection : This is the key skill of VE4. VE4 is a headphone with middle and lower sides, but the high quality low frequency does not affect the performance of middle and high frequency. The nature of tri frequency transition is particularly attractive. Compared with NT-6 Pro, the connection between high frequency and intermediate frequency is a little disjointed, and VE4 can be said to be more complete in terms of sound.
Sound field, resolution : The sound field and separation of VE4 is also one of its widely respected features, and some people even call it "extrabrain sound field". In fact, the sound field of VE4 is really shocking. The sense of space and air are extremely excellent, and the sound field is quite three-dimensional. VE4 can clearly distinguish the position of various musical instruments, and each frequency band can be clearly displayed. In contrast, the sound of NT-6 Pro is not so stereo, and the sound field scale of NT-6 Pro is moderate. Although the resolution is not as good as VE4, it is still extremely toxic in the sound performance of some instruments, such as piano.
The VE4 is undoubtedly a customized headset with outstanding quality, which is impressive in terms of overall sound control, low-frequency texture, sound field and sound separation. Maybe it is the material of the original line and personal habits. The author feels that the sound of VE4 is a little too thick. If you can match the right wire, it will make the performance of VE4 more outstanding. As for the VE3, it is a pity that we can not join the sharing of VE3's listening feelings this time because the VE3 is not the author's private model and there is serious leakage after wearing it.
