The Nexus 7 is an excellent Android tablet, but now it seems that it is slightly outdated in terms of resolution and processor configuration. The enhanced version of Nexus 7 has also surfaced recently, and it will compete with the legendary iPad mini 2.
From the configuration table, Nexus 7 is still Asus OEM, using Android 4.3 system. The biggest improvement of the whole tablet is in the processor, screen and camera. The processor is upgraded to APQ8064, and the screen uses 1920 * 1200 of seven inch LTPS, which is made by JDI. A rear 5 megapixel camera has been added to the camera. On the whole, the configuration of the new Nexus 7 is good, but APQ8064 is the flagship SoC of the previous generation. What about the Snapdragon 600?
