Cut the back gap with the help of a pick and a knife

Remove the bottom housing

You can see the battery and motherboard

Use a crowbar to disconnect the battery cable.

Unplug the lithium-ion battery.

The battery capacity is 793mAh, which can be used for several months after each charge

Disconnect Lightning cable with tweezers

Remove the screws that secure the motherboard

Take out the mainboard

Take a look at the chip of the motherboard:

  • Red: Broadcom BCM20733 Bluetooth 3.0 single chip

  • Orange: STM 32F103VB 72MHz 32 bit RISC Cortex-M3 microcontroller

  • Yellow: NXP 1608A1 charging controller

  • Green: TI BQ24250C single input I2C/independent switch mode lithium ion charger

Remove the two screws that secure the Lightning connector and take out the Lightning connector

Take out the key cap and new shear fork structure

After the disassembly is completed, come to Zhang Quanfu, and the ifixit gives 3 points for the difficulty of disassembly (10 points is the easiest)


Mouse 2


The Lighting connector is on the bottom of the mouse

It can't be used when charging

The appearance of the two generations of Magic Mouse hardly changes. Only the position of the bottom battery compartment becomes the Lightning interface, the LOGO and font color become black, and the LED status indicator is canceled.

Take two "feet"

Pry off from the side with a crowbar and a pick

It's full of glue

Continue to disassemble, and the battery is finally exposed. At the same time, you can see the capacitor array, which is responsible for detecting surface touch and recording gestures.

Remove the screws, take out the metal baffle, and remove the cable

Separate the bottom and middle frame. There is a capacitor on the right side of the middle frame

Take a look at the chips on the motherboard:

  • Red: Broadcom BCM20733 Bluetooth 3.0 single chip

  • Orange: 303S0499 touch controller

  • Yellow: NXP 1608A1 charging chip

  • Green: TI 56AYZ21

  • Blue: STM32F103VB 72MHz 32-bit RISC Cortex-M3 microcontroller

Lever the battery


The battery capacity is 1986mAh, which is about 9% more than the iPhone 6S

After the disassembly, the family photo and ifixit gave 2 points of difficulty (10 points is the easiest). So far, the new iMac three piece set has been disassembled.
