Exquisite workmanship, easy disassembly, vivo Xshot, disassembly drawing appreciation

Xshot is the first flagship product of vivo's latest photo series. It is equipped with advanced features such as a 5.2 inch 1080P screen, MSM8974AC processor, 3G Ram, IMX214, and a customized decoding chip CS4398CN. What about its internal workmanship and structure? This time, let's take apart this "barbecue".

Xshot has obvious family lineage from the appearance, and the front design can almost be regarded as a vivo mobile phone ▼

The design of the back is simple, and there is no screw outside the body. How can we start?

As usual, we still start with the card slot. This time, Xshot has a micro SIM and micro SD dual card slot. Use the card pin to push out the card slot ▼

It can be seen from the position of the card slot that the rear cover is installed on the body with a snap ▼

We can pry off the back cover slowly and forcefully from this notch. Of course, we should not use excessive force. Be careful to break the buckle ▼

It was easy to open the back cover ▼

There are antennas ▼ on the two corners of the rear cover

Remove the screws on the speaker bezel to remove the speaker bezel ▼

To remove the motherboard, first remove the baffle at the top. There is a fragile sticker on one screw, and if it is damaged, it means that the warranty has been waived ▼

Tear off the protective sticker ▼ on the battery

After removing all the screws, the baffle can be removed smoothly ▼

Back of baffle ▼

Cut off power ▼

There is a metal plate connected to the bottom of the battery, which is fixed on the middle frame with screws. To remove the battery, first remove the six screws ▼

Take out the battery. The Xshot uses 2600mAh lithium polymer battery with a charging voltage of 4.35V. The integrated structure of battery and metal sheet is easier to disassemble, which is better than the battery pasted with double-sided adhesive tape ▼

Next, pry off all kinds of flat cables on the motherboard. First, press the key flat cable ▼ on the side

Touch screen cable ▼

Cable arrangement for connecting speakers and microphones ▼

Remove the RF cables on both sides of the mainboard ▼

Remove the rear camera cable ▼

After removing the front ribbon cable, do not pull the motherboard hard, because there is a ribbon cable still connected to the motherboard at the back ▼

Remove it smoothly ▼

Now the motherboard of Xshot is presented to us. The motherboard is excellent in workmanship and compact in layout. Next, let's see what chips are on the motherboard ▼

First, Toshiba THGBMBG8D4KBAIR flash memory chip, the largest in size, has a capacity of 32G and eMMC5.0 specifications. It is manufactured with the second-generation 19nm process, and its read/write speed is much better than ordinary flash memory chips ▼

High pass RF transceiver chip WTR1625L ▼

Qualcomm LTE chip WTR2100 ▼

SKY77753 power amplifier chip, supporting LTE network signal transceiver ▼

SKY77354 power amplifier chip, supporting GSM/EDGE network signal transceiver ▼

SKY77629 power amplifier chip, supporting WCDMA/LTE network signal transceiver ▼

The left side of the back of the mainboard is a double card slot, and the right side is a large shield. Since the shield is welded to the mainboard, we will not continue to disassemble ▼

Tear off the metal sheet on the shield, you can see Samsung's RAM chip, model: K3QF7F70DM-QGCF, capacity: 3G, specification: LPDDR3-1866. Below this chip is Snapdragon 801 chip ▼

The source of Xshot's excellent sound quality, the customized CS4398CN, greatly reduces the size of the chip while maintaining the sound quality, and is more suitable for loading on handheld devices ▼

Xshot adopts Sony IMX214 second generation stack sensor, with F/1.8 large aperture 6P lens, and OIS optical anti shake technology. The camera is fixed on the body ▼

The front camera is 8 million pixel back lit, aperture F/2.4 ▼

Disassemble the "family photo" ▼
