Well, Apple has applied for a new patent. The patent describes a very interesting technology that facilitates any future iOS firmware update. Its basic idea is to allow users to access any application directly from the lock screen interface. In contrast, Android allows users to browse applications on the lock screen. Apple said that sliding unlock will provide access to one or more selected applications after sliding upward, without the need to unlock iPhone.
