The enhanced packaging of Xiaomi Box has not changed much. It is still Xiaomi's traditional kraft paper style, but its size continues to decrease.
The main features are listed on the back. Compared with the second generation of Xiaomi Box, the enhanced version of Xiaomi Box is more powerful. For example, 4-core CPU, 8-core processor, 4K output, and AC network support. The latter two items may be based on hardware support, which is not obvious in the experience, but the hardware improvement of the first item is quite amazing, which we will talk about later.
Compared with the previous independent packaging of various accessories, the enhanced version of Xiaomi Box is much simpler in packaging. The accessories are still the old ones. The remote control, power supply and HDMI cable have not changed significantly compared with the second generation of Xiaomi Box.

The three dimensions of the enhanced version of Xiaomi Box are 101 * 10mm, which is a circle smaller than the 105.75 * 105.75mm of the second generation of Xiaomi Box, but it is not obvious. The thickness of the enhanced version of Xiaomi Box has changed from 21mm to 19.5mm, and the edge transition is more pleasing. And finally, the top of the interface is removed, so that some larger ones don't have to worry about compatibility, and they are more beautiful.
Every time the Xiaomi box is upgraded, the interface changes considerably. From left to right, the back interfaces of Xiaomi Box Plus are power input, mirco USB interface, USB 2.0 interface, TF card slot, HDMI and AV interface. USB 2.0 interface and TF card slot are added to make it more practical. The power interface is a circle larger than the AV interface before, which should be noted.
The enhanced version of Xiaomi Box still uses Xiaomi's own TV interface, which is not much different from the previous Xiaomi Box. Functions and options are still distinguished through the top function bar and large icons.

Of course, the most noticeable thing about Xiaomi Box is its performance improvement. Compared with the second generation of Xiaomi Box, the performance of the enhanced version of Xiaomi Box has been greatly improved. Its SoC has been upgraded from 1.5GHz dual core Cortex-A9 to 2GHz quad core Cortex-A9, while the GPU has been upgraded from Mali-400 MP2 to Mali-450MP6. It can be said that this hardware configuration improvement has really achieved the goal of turning TV sets into game consoles.
The improvement of hardware configuration is not only reflected in the score running data, but also in the normal page operation, you can feel that the switching speed is faster, and the local video loading speed and fast forward speed are also much faster.
