During several days of use, almost no one noticed the watch on my hand. Apart from a few colleagues in the company, they were interested only because they had heard about Pebble. They just touched and said, "It's ugly" and returned it to me. Pebble didn't seem to meet their expectations.

The shape of Pebble is really ugly. It is like a toy watch played in childhood. The watch body is plastic, the button type plastic, and the strap is plastic. In a word, the plastic feeling is very heavy. No one will notice when wearing this watch when going out. Even if they notice it, they will only despise it. So don't think that wearing this watch can fit B. Think you are a geek? Nobody will admit it.

Despite the appearance, we talked about the feeling of use. After buying it, one operation was to press the button on the side of the fuselage. The button was really bad. It was too hard. You had to press it hard. We don't want to be too picky about such an early product. In fact, we are more concerned about its function and where its intelligence lies.

Pebble, as a smart watch, can't ignore the function of watching time. By default, Pebble comes with three different table interfaces, which you can choose according to your own preferences. However, it is difficult for a black and white screen mobile phone to have a particularly beautiful interface.

Pebble uses a self styled e-paper screen, which is black and white, and is a 114x168 pixel "Transreflective" LCD screen. And such a low resolution screen can give you a beautiful effect. It is not the phone screen, it is only the second screen of the phone, just a reminder function. The more important thing is to save power. It can be used for 7 days when fully charged, so we can understand this screen. In addition, the performance of this kind of screen in the sunlight is also very good, while the ordinary LCD screen is difficult to achieve this effect.
In fact, the most attractive thing about Pebble is its reminder function. When you connect your mobile phone through Bluetooth, as long as there is an incoming call, text message or email, your Pebble will vibrate and remind you, so you don't have to worry about missing calls or text messages. It's quite practical.
In fact, in addition to the vibrating reminder, Pebble's screen will also display relevant content, such as the name of the caller, SMS and email content. Unfortunately, Pebble doesn't support Chinese at all. All Chinese phone calls and text messages, as long as there are Chinese characters, will become small boxes one by one. One of the core functions of Pebble has become worthless in China. (However, you can also use third-party firmware to achieve Chinese display. However, due to the limitation of the Pebble kernel, each font can only contain 256 characters. In addition to English and punctuation, only about 100 Chinese characters can be inserted.)

To tell the truth, it is estimated that after a few more days, I will throw this watch aside. It's not that I dislike its appearance. More importantly, the smart watch that doesn't even support Chinese can't be used. Phone mail that can't distinguish between important and not will only become a burden of harassment and life. I believe that the future of Pebble will be beautiful, but it still has a lot to improve. With the cooperation between Pebble and applications like Runkeeper, I believe Pebble can become more practical and attractive.
