[Magic light bulb changing with sound] -- Experience of HEILIANG trial

Many of us have heard of or used voice control lights, such as in public areas of residential areas. In order to save electricity, voice control lights are usually installed. But these lights are only turned on and off by voice control, and have no other functions.

Now there is a magic lamp, which can not only control the switch with sound, but also control the brightness and chroma with sound. It is the HEIDE developed by HEIDE (Shenzhen) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.

Thanks to the trust of Lei Feng.com and HEIDENG (Shenzhen) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., which gave the author a chance to try this magic light bulb.

1、 Unpacking

Zhongtong Express delivered trial supplies. The outer package is a rolled plastic bag, which is relatively simple. The author is really worried about whether the bulb inside will be crushed, damaged or broken.

Remove the plastic bag, and there is a long black box with a square cross section of 65mm × 65mm × 135mm inside. The box is made of ordinary cardboard, and white patterns and words are printed on the black bottom plate.

There is no pattern and text on the top and bottom of the box, and the patterns and text on the four sides are as shown in the above figure. The content includes: QR code, barcode and product drawing. There is a lot of information on the back of the box. The author zooms it in:

The information includes brand, product (bulb) size, weight, interface type, process material, light source, power consumption, brightness, service life, company name and official website.

Open the black box and evaluate the protagonist - Heideng reveals the true face of Lushan. At first glance, it is no different from the ordinary milky white bulb. The maximum diameter of the bulb is 62.2mm, 116mm long and 135g heavy. The box also contains two pieces of square two-dimensional code paper "Scan and Control", without instructions.

2、 Trial

Hey light is a digital voice controlled bulb. At present, the connection modes of smart lights are roughly divided into Bluetooth, WiFi, and zigbee. Compared with them, the distinctive feature of HEILIANG is that it uses digital sound to control. Through digital sound, you can adjust brightness, color temperature, turn on, turn off, and other functions.

The simpler way is to use the mobile phone to scan the QR code on the black packaging box or the small piece of QR code paper in the box. At this time, the mobile phone page jumps to an HTML5 page that is basically the same as the "Hey Lamp" app (see the figure below), so that people who do not know the app can operate the smart bulb with a lower threshold.

The picture above shows the web page that appears after the mobile phone scans the QR code. You can use it to control the Hey light. The words "APP" and "Purchase" are on both sides of the "HEIDIAN" on the top. Click "Purchase" and the page will jump to the official store of HEIDIAN.

Click APP, the page will go to the download page of the app store, click "Get", and complete the download and installation according to the page prompts. At this time, there is an icon of the app on the mobile phone desktop.

The author uses the iPhone 6plus mobile phone, and uses the "scan and control" web page to control the Hey light. The phone does not make sound, and the Hey light does not respond. I don't know why. Use the HEILIANG app to control normally.

Click the "Hey Light" app on the mobile desktop, and the page above will appear first. Hey, the lamp has 5 levels of chromaticity and 10 levels of brightness. The number in the circle represents the brightness level. Click the small black spot on the outer circle of the circle with your finger, and gradually increase the brightness clockwise. The minimum brightness is 1, and the maximum brightness is 10. The user selects the brightness as required, and then clicks the middle number, which is equivalent to confirmation. Click the white round plus sign at the bottom of the figure above, and the chroma will gradually become cold (white). Click the yellow plus sign at the bottom right, and the chroma will gradually become warm (yellow). Click ON to turn on the light; Click OFF, and the light goes out. The control is quite simple.

It can be seen from the screenshot that with the increase of the number, the yellow area on the light also increases, which means the brightness gradually increases.

The desk lamp of the author's house is matched with the HEI lamp interface, which is just used for testing.

If we combine 5 levels of chroma and 10 levels of brightness according to the arrangement and combination, more photos need to be taken. In addition, the author's photography skills are poor. Taking photos with the light off will soon be a waste of eyes. It is impossible to tell what the slight changes are in each different combination. We can only take as many pictures as possible to compare and compare their differences.

3、 Summary

"Heideng" uses voice as the communication mode. The whole process does not need to connect to Wi Fi or Bluetooth, just scan a code. It created a control mode of "code scanning and control". “ "Hey Lamp" directly removes the matching link, making the interaction between users and hardware devices more direct. The first advantage of digital sound control is that it is simple to operate: as long as the control sound can be sent, the lamp can be controlled; Second, there are various control methods: if you scan the QR code, it will open a web page. You can operate the relevant buttons on it, and the phone speaker will make a sound. After the bulb receives the sound, you can carry out the relevant operations. You can also use the HEILIANG App to control, without networking and pairing, and even record the control sound; Third, there is no compatibility problem: compared with Bluetooth, WiFi and zigbee, voice is more common, and its performance on mobile phones is more consistent and universal.

Heideng has 10 levels of brightness adjustment and 5 levels of color temperature adjustment. From night light brightness to reading brightness, and from 2700K color temperature to 5600K color temperature, the ideal lighting scene can be matched.
