This Funtouch OS 2.5 update focuses on fluency, power saving, function upgrade of iManager, music resources, themes and WeChat integration. For ordinary users, they will not be aware of the difference between it and Funtouch OS 2.1 in terms of UI and appearance.

Funtouch OS 2.5 is no different from the previous system launcher, but we can see that the function of WeChat scanning has been added to the pull-up bar. We can understand that it is a shortcut for scanning QR codes in WeChat, and when clicked, the WeChat function will be automatically called. This is really a practical update for all social networking experts.

Another update of WeChat integration is to enter the system camera, and we will see that there is a "small video" shooting mode. In fact, it is a short video in WeChat, which can be shared to WeChat friends or friends immediately after shooting. In this way, the captured video can also be saved locally.

The system setting menu still adopts the logic layout similar to native Android, and the X5Pro D with the new system was tried in the communication meeting. It is also the first model adapted to Funtouch OS 2.5, and the system is based on Android 5.0.

However, it is a little pity that vivo still does not provide users with open root permission, which makes some players unable to better "show their strength".

Like many customized Android systems in China, Funtouch OS 2.5 also adds the function of mobile phone cleaning, and supports the function of one button cleaning, so that users can optimize their mobile phones at any time.

In iManager, there are also many different CPU scheduling modes for users to choose.

At the communication meeting, the chief experience officer of vivo said that in daily use, the mobile phone will turn off the big core (using 8 cores as an example) and only turn on the small core. When running the game, the eight cores will be fully opened to better control power consumption.

In terms of themes, Fontouch OS 2.5 supports more themes and opens theme editing tools, which will bring more third-party themes, and more global themes will be introduced into the theme store, making the system's UI more thoroughly changed.

In terms of music, in addition to the HiFi sound quality, vivo also provides more online high-quality music resources for Funtouch OS 2.5, which are supported by Ali (Xiami) Music.

In order to facilitate the direct data transmission of vivo users, Funtouch OS 2.5 also adds the functions of "zero traffic mutual transmission" and "one button switch", so that vivo mobile phones can quickly share files and synchronize data.

Vivo is an early manufacturer to add double click on the bright screen. In Funtouch OS 2.5, it also adds the function of double click off the screen, which is more convenient than the one button lock screen under the launcher.
