Unpacking

The packaging box of Airou is retro in shape and solid in materials, which can protect the router very well. When the express is packed with only one layer of plastic bags, only four corners are slightly damaged when it arrives.

Different from the retro style of the packaging box, the appearance design of the router is very powerful! The router and power cord plug are well protected in the box. The power plug is very compact and does not occupy extra space on the socket.

Airou has one 10/100M adaptive WAN port+three 10/100M adaptive LAN ports, which is sufficient for the era of wireless WIFI.

A large area of heat dissipation grille is set at the bottom and both sides of Airou, and good heat dissipation ensures long-term stable operation of the route.

Airou has sharp edges and corners in its appearance. When the blue indicator lights up, its appearance is more incisive. The 360 P1 takes a simple, light and thin route. Although the two routes have different appearances, they both have a sense of science and technology. In particular, Airou's appearance has its own style and personality.

Two 5dBi high-quality brass spiral antennas are externally placed on Airou, which can be adjusted back and forth or rotated 360 °.

By default, Airou and 360 P1 enable the through the wall mode, and test at three different locations through the WIFI analyzer, and conclude that the signal strength and coverage area of the two routes are equal.

In the signal test in the yard, the signals of the two routes can cover the place about 50 steps away from the route, which means that the normal farmyard can be completely covered, and the neighborhood around the yard can be basically covered. You can also use your own WIFI when visiting the neighborhood.

There is a magical place to test WIFI signals. Three routes were tested at home in this place. Among them, 360 P1 and Airou had one more signal in the through the wall mode than TP Link five years ago. You don't have to wait to view the network pictures.

Airou APP

The process of APP connecting to the router is very convenient. You can complete the connection in two steps, and then register and log in through your mobile phone number to remotely manage the router. In the APP, you can not only check what devices "children" use to surf the Internet, but also what "children" do online, and guide children to surf the Internet reasonably through the three built-in modes!

As shown in the figure below, you can view the devices connected to the network in the APP, which networked APPs are used by each device, and you can limit the speed and set different modes to limit the Internet access, similar to the simplified version of enterprise network monitoring.

Learning mode: Only allow children to visit learning websites, or parents can manually add allowed websites, which can not only avoid distractions in children's learning process, but also prevent bear children from abusing the network in the name of learning.

Time mode: You can set the duration of free Internet access in APP, and enter the learning mode after the accumulated Internet access time reaches the set duration. You can also set a period of time when you are not allowed to surf the Internet, so as to avoid the impact of surfing on your rest and health during special periods such as rest time.

Free mode: By default, the free mode is selected for device networking, that is, the device networking is not restricted by default. In the free mode, certain types of online activities can also be prohibited by modifying settings, such as prohibiting games and shopping to restrain the game house and the party.
