Sony has always been a supplier of camera sensor modules for mobile phone manufacturers. The Olympic Games, FIFA, At international events such as Wimbledon, Hollywood films were shot by Sony cameras (Sony Entertainment accounted for 1/3 of Hollywood films). For ordinary people, Sony accounts for 78%+of the market. It can be seen how powerful the black technology of Sony Dafa is. Today we will take apart Sony A7RII to see what black technology is in its internal structure! (Source: iFixit translation: 91 disassembly)
About 42.4 million Exmor R CMOS back lit image sensor
BIONZ X Image Processor
5-axis optical anti shake system
4K video recording
399 enhanced hybrid phase detection automatic focusing
NFC and Wi Fi connectivity
On the back of the camera is a foldable 3-inch LCD display with 1.23 million pixels.
The left side of the camera body is equipped with a large number of I/O ports, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm stereo headset and microphone input port, and a USB port.
Sony A7RII is the first SLR camera in the world that uses a full frame back lit sensor (BIS) and a silent shutter, and uses an E-Mount system.
NP-FW50 7.2 V, 1020mAh hot swappable battery is adopted.
Sony is very conscientious. It is not just one battery, but two.
Remove the screws that secure the base plate.
Take out the base plate and metal tripod plate.
Use tweezers to remove the thin ribbon cable connecting the LED screen and the camera body, and separate the LED screen and the camera body.
The LED screen adopts Retina screen, and the internal composition of the entire LED screen can be seen from the X-ray perspective.
First take down the eyepiece and remove the four screws of the viewfinder frame, so that the viewfinder frame can be removed. As an SLR camera, the Sony a7R II does not have an optical viewfinder. However, using an XGA (1024 × 768 pixels) OLED screen in the viewfinder can provide users with accurate image preview.
In the battery slot of the camera body, remove several screws that are difficult to find.
The viewfinder frame and LCD panel have been removed, and the back cover can be removed.
Gently pull out the flat cable connecting the LED screen and take out the metal fixing bracket.
Next is the card reader.
Remove the screws that secure the motherboard metal bezel, and take out the motherboard metal bezel.
Use a crowbar to pry off the component cables connected to the main board one by one.
Gently remove the motherboard.
You can see in front of the motherboard:
Red: Sony CXD90027GF SoC
Orange: Meguiar 5FA98 JWB39 EMCP
Yellow: SK Hynix H5TC4G63CFR 4 Gb DDR3L SDRAM
On the back:
Green: Sony CXD4236-1GG, possibly the latest version of CXD4236GG image processor
Light blue: Fujitsu MB9AF004 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor
Dark Blue: Murata KM5601002
Another X-ray perspective of the motherboard.
Remove the screws that secure the camera handle.
Remove the camera handle toward the front panel of the camera.
The camera handle is equipped with a forward rotator, a shutter button, and a Wi Fi antenna.
Then remove the NFC chip hidden behind the motherboard.
Slowly tear off the silicone heat dissipation pad attached to the viewfinder OLED screen cable, and then gently take out the viewfinder OLED screen.
Remove the upper shell of the camera body.
Tear off the entire silicone heat dissipation pad covering the Exmor R CMOS sensor. It is worth mentioning that this new Exmor R CMOS sensor equipped on Sony A7R II has an optical anti shake function.
The Exmor R CMOS sensor of Sony A7R II is firmly installed together with the five axis anti shake system, and is made by Sony's own semiconductor technology.
Finally, there is the internal frame at the front of the fuselage, which is the frame for fixing sensors and anti shake system.
For a family photo of Sony A7R II, the difficulty of disassembly given by ifixit is 4 points (the full score is 10 points, the higher the score, the easier it is to repair). The battery can be easily replaced without tools. The tripod interface and the viewfinder can be replaced without disassembling the camera body. However, the internal components of the camera are very complicated. It is difficult to repair the camera without following the A7RII maintenance manual provided by Sony.
