Although the touch function could be used, it was still unsightly, so I went to the Internet to buy a touch screen and DIY to replace the touch screen.

Tools required for this screen changing tutorial: hot air gun (ordinary users can use hair dryer instead), screen opening pliers, cross screwdriver, crowbar, pry blade.

First, turn off the machine first, and then use a hot air gun to heat the surroundings of the screen to soften the 3M adhesive for bonding the screen, so as to facilitate the disassembly of the screen.

To lift the screen, you need to open it from the top (on the side of the front camera). You can use the "LCD screen opening pliers" to lift one corner of the screen (pay attention to the force).

Slowly, you can use the pry to slowly tilt the screen from the gap opened by the "LCD screen opening clamp".

Slowly tilt up the screen panel. If you encounter resistance, you can try to heat the panel adhesive again. But be careful not to lift the touch screen panel more than 90 ° to avoid pulling the touch screen cable.

After uncovering the touch screen, it can be seen that the display screen is fixed by four cross screws.

Remove the next four screws that secure the display

After disassembling the next four screws, note that there is a shielding sponge adhesive tape attached to the home key to bond the display screen, which will hinder the disassembly of the display screen. Remember to remove the adhesive tape.

After removing the four screws, the display screen can be lifted from the top (at the front camera). There is a layer of metal plate under the display screen. The display screen and touch screen cable can only be disconnected after removal.

After removing the metal plate, you can see the small fixed flat wire metal plate at the red frame, which is fixed with three cross screws with different lengths. Pay attention to the position when reinstalling.

After removing the small board, you can see where the flat cable is. The right side of the mouth is the display flat cable, and the right side is the power flat cable

After the screen cable is removed, the position of the touch screen cable can be seen (at the red circle). The new touch screen can be replaced by removing the touch screen cable.

After the new screen is replaced, don't hurry to cover the touch screen tightly, first test whether the touch can be used normally and then glue the screen back.
