A big vivo X5Max platinum experience
A big vivo X5Max platinum experience

The X5Max, as Vivo's flagship ultra thin and light model, has launched a number of derivative models according to different network and hardware configurations. Recently, Vivo has launched a platinum version of the X5Max with a high configuration. With the larger 3G Ram and 4150mAh super large battery, how is it different from other versions? Let's have a look:

From the front, the X5Max S and other versions of the X5Max are identical. Since the thickness has increased to 7.29 mm, the camera is hardly protruding from the back.

The rear cover is made of large area austenitic stainless steel.

The X5Max S still uses a metal frame. The thickness of the frame is the same as that of other phones in the X5Max series, but it can be seen that the front panel and back cover have obvious protrusions.

The rear cover is in a certain radian.

The X5Max S still has the familiar "AND or card holder". Card 1 supports a micro SIM card, and card 2 supports nano SIM or TF cards. The X5Max S supports mobile 4G and 3G networks, and supports FDD-LTE and WCDMA when roaming.

Let's compare the appearance of X5Max, X5Max+and X5Max S. From the front, they all use white front panels, which are identical.

The thickness difference between the three can be seen from the side. The front panel and rear cover of the X5Max S have obvious protrusions.

It can be seen that the rear cover of the X5Max S (left) is in a certain radian, while the X5Max (right) is almost a plane.

Due to the different thickness, the lens protrusion of the three is also different.

The other three models of the fuselage are identical.

The X5Max S still adopts the Funtouch OS2.0 based on Android 4.4.4.

The major improvement of X5Max S over X5Max is that it uses the MT6752 1.7GHz eight core 64 bit processor, which is the same as the configuration of X5Max+. However, since the system has not been updated to Android 5.0, the 64 bit feature is not yet supported.

MT6752 is a SoC made with 28nm process, which is equipped with Mali-T760mp2 graphics processor and consists of eight core Cortex-A53 1.7GHz.

The X5Max S also adopts the highest 3G Ram+32G Rom configuration in the entire X5Max, and supports 128G tf card expansion.

The running score of Anthare of X5Max S exceeded 41000, which is not very outstanding.

Due to the addition of 3G Ram, the available memory for boot is 2.2G, while the X5Max+with the same SoC and 2G Ram is only 1.2G, a gap of 1G.

In addition, the usable capacity of the X5Max S is 24G in total, while that of other X5Max series phones is less than 10G, which is an obvious gap.

Finally, let's take a look at the power of the 4150mAh high energy density ionomer battery of the X5Max S. We conducted a three-and-a-half hour high-intensity test, and the results show that the X5Max S still has up to 76% of the power after the test, which is also the most powerful of many mobile phones we have tested. Compared with the X5Max, the progress is more obvious.

Finally, the price of the X5Max S with upgraded SoC, memory, storage capacity and battery is 3298 yuan, which is 300 yuan higher than that of the X5Max. If you are a user who does not mind the weight of the body, it is undoubtedly a better choice.
