Since its launch, Yijia Mobile has experienced many systems, from the pre installed ColorOS and CM, to the later OxygenOS, and then to the recently publicly tested self-designed H2OS. The latest H2OS is undoubtedly the most popular. What new features does it bring? Today we will experience the internal beta of H2OS together.
The H2OS launcher is very different from the general Android based system. The home page consists of a time plug-in (hydrogen window) and nine grid icons. Other pages are composed of 15 squares of 3 * 5. They don't have the concept of traditional Android launcher plug-in. They look fresh, but they also lack a lot of functions. We have seen similar designs on Smartisan OS, but the latter is more pure, not even the clock plug-in. H2OS will also realize more functions in the hydrogen window through OTA upgrade.
The initiator supports the style switching of the clock plug-in, as well as the background switching. It should be noted that the background here is only the background of the clock, not the background of the entire initiator.
So when we change a beautiful wallpaper... it will have the same effect as the above picture. The background of the application icon turns blue, which seems a bit heavy. So it is recommended to use several kinds of backgrounds that come with us.
The lock screen interface can be displayed when there is a notice, and the prompt during charging is more vivid.
The drop-down bar displays a notification. This is an improvement over the native Android system. Swipe the notification right to enter the corresponding application, and swipe left to close the notification.
It supports the management of notifications for different applications.
H2OS adds the setting of the pull-up bar, which contains seven commonly used shortcut switches. These switches are fixed and cannot be customized. In addition, there are shortcuts for flashlight, recorder, calculator, photography and system settings, with brightness adjustment at the bottom.
It integrates the previously downloaded weather, dynamic effects and interaction are quite distinctive.
The clock interface has also been redesigned. The picture style is very lively, and the color matching also shows personality and vitality.
The dial panel is mainly white, which seems simple but actually contains many functions.
Dialing supports functions such as T9 and call home display, and also supports functions such as blacklist and call recording. The dial panel also integrates the yellow page function to turn left.
The system information interface still maintains a small and fresh color matching style, and H2OS also has its own Baidu Input Method Plus special edition.
The gallery supports timeline arrangement and atlas arrangement.
One plus application market.
In the calculator and calendar interface of the system, the calendar has been locally optimized and the lunar calendar display has been added.
The system sets white as the main color, and the icons are flat colored icons.
The H2OS in beta is based on Android 5.0.2.
It can be seen from the system settings that H2OS pursues to be as simple as possible, which also leads us to not find some functions we used to use on ColorOS in the past.
Although Android 5.0.2 is used, the GPU driver is only V84, which is relatively old.
The running score is also the normal level of Yijia Mobile.
We also used microblog, Taobao and other third-party applications to test the smoothness of H2OS, and the results showed that the smoothness was satisfactory.
The photographing interface uses a native design, with few functions. The photographing experience still maintains the style of the past, and the spot metering is very sensitive.
Finally, there is the power off screen. Long press the power key to power off, but the power off menu only has the power off function, not restart. However, from the perspective of animation and transition, the effect is really novel.
From the above simple experience, H2OS has done a lot of optimization and localization processing based on Android 5.0.2, which is more suitable for domestic users in terms of appearance and usage habits. H2OS also brings us some new experiences in some interactions with launchers, built-in applications, and drop-down columns. However, compared with ColorOS, there are many deficiencies in functions, such as the camera function, double click on the bright screen, double click on the lock screen, etc., which have disappeared. At this stage, H2OS still has a large space for development in functionality.
