On May 20, OPPO held a 10-year communication meeting on new products of sincere products in Beijing, and released two mobile phones, R7 and R7 Plus, at this conference. R7 will be launched in JD on May 21, and we will take a look at the initial experience of this new slim phone:

The packaging of R7 is somewhat different from the previous OPPO mobile phones. The front of R7 is printed with the silhouette of the front.

OPPO's signature green color is on the side of the package.

After opening the package, you can see R7. There is a frosted protective film on the outside of the fuselage.

The second layer of the package is related accessories. In addition to the "three major" power adapter, data cable and headset of the phone, a transparent plastic sleeve is also included.

Of course, the power adapter is also equipped with the VOOC 2.0 flash charge, which OPPO is proud of. The charging specification is 5V 4A. It can be seen that its output current is very high.

The front of the phone still has a strong OPPO style, with three touch buttons below.

The earpiece adopts a groove design. On the left side of the earpiece is an 800W pixel front camera.

A major feature of R7 is that the front panel is designed with 2.5D glass, which makes the touch of the phone more smooth and greatly improves the texture.

Large area metal design is adopted at the back.

Another product detail is that the edge of the back cover of the R7 also has a certain radian, which will improve the grip of the phone.

There are card slots and volume keys on the right side of the fuselage.

We got the mobile R7, which supports dual card and dual standby. Card 1 uses micro SIM, and card 2 uses nano SIM. In addition, the location of card 2 also supports TF card, which is an AND or card slot.

On the left is the power key. It can be seen that R7 is different from most mobile phones. The power key is placed on the left side of the body.

The top of the fuselage is a 3.5mm headphone connector with two antenna separation strips. From this angle, it can be seen that the R7 camera is slightly protruding.

There is a micro USB interface and a microphone at the bottom. There are also two antenna separation strips.

In addition to gold, we also got the silver R7, which is exactly the same from the front panel.

R7 adopts the new ColorOS 2.1. The UI design has some changes, and some new functions have also been added. The system is based on Android 4.4.4.

ColorOS 2.1 also redraws the icon, which is more beautiful than before.

For third-party applications, the icon is redrawn.

The style of the drop-down bar has not changed much. It still has multiple shortcut switches and brightness adjustment.

With the AMOLED screen of R7, the main color of the system menu also becomes dark.

R7 has 3G Ram, and the remaining memory after startup is 2.33G, which proves that the new system is well controlled in this respect.

The R7 mobile SoC is the MT6752 of MediaTek, an 8-core 64 bit SoC. It consists of eight Cortex-A53, with a frequency of 1.7GHz. It can be seen that up to five cores are turned off when we detect them, which can play a better role in controlling power consumption.

R7 uses a 5-inch 1080P AMOLED screen. The GPU is Mali-T760mp2. Since the system is only Android 4.4.4, OpenGL ES3.1 is not supported.

We also carried out the rabbit test, and the score exceeded 42000.

The rear adopts 13 million pixel Samsung ISOCELL sensor, which supports phase focusing technology. 8 million cameras in front.

R7 also updated the camera module. It can be seen from the viewfinder that its layout is very similar to that of the iPhone, and it has the function of sliding up and down to adjust the exposure. Focusing is fast, and photometry is a very sensitive type.

Click the camera module menu, you can select slow shutter, ultra clear image quality, HDR and other functions. It can be seen that most of the functions of the R7 camera are concentrated here, and it supports downloading new plug-ins online.

The manual mode supports focusing and metering separation, and has corresponding adjustments for shutter speed, sensitivity, white balance, etc., but the adjustment values are not detailed enough.
