On the afternoon of April 3, 2015, on the first anniversary of entering China, Tesla released the four-wheel drive model S (P85D) at Beijing Jingang International Circuit and delivered it to the first batch of car owners in China.

At the press conference, Zhu Xiaotong, the newly appointed person in charge of Tesla China, said that Tesla would not be surpassed in five years, and it is the most environmentally friendly to develop electric vehicles with a range of 400-500km. When someone on the scene asked about Tesla's employees' job hopping to Apple to develop electric vehicles. At the end of the press conference, Wang Zhenfei, CEO of "Charging Network", was invited to talk about his experience. He said that Tesla can now complete long-distance travel. He once drove from Beijing to Shenzhen, and cooperated with various hotels along the way to build charging stations, which were paid by hotels. In addition, President Wang has also proposed a public welfare activity, "Clear Sky Operation", to contribute to the desertification of Tibet. The activity combines it with the "100 million Haloxylon ammodendron" project of Alashan SEE. This action will use the "Charging Network" APP platform for Tesla owners to launch and encourage Tesla owners all over the country to drive the Model S for 30 consecutive days. After each car owner signs up for the event, the "Charging Network" will plant a Haloxylon tree in the name of each car owner participating in the event, and make contributions to welcoming the green future with practical actions.

At the end of the press conference, I was lucky to try the Tesla P85D, The staff at the 4S store told me that Tesla didn't shift gears because it was a pure electric car, and the acceleration was very smooth.
