Z7, Yes, this is not Sony's latest flagship mobile phone, but Sony's latest production of a headset. This new flagship dynamic headset on sale features its "air feeling" sound, and the headset itself is directly produced in Japan. Would you like to have a taste of that smell from Japan?

The large box has the gold logo of Sony's high-resolution audio on the front.

There are some product introductions on the back, but there is not much product information. The diaphragm material is 70mm aluminum plated polymer liquid crystal diaphragm, and the original silver plated oxygen free copper wire.

The inner layer of the black box shapes the high and lofty atmosphere.

There is also a metal number plate inside the box... It is said that the Z7 is not a "limited model".

And to be honest, I still have questions about whether Sony can use up all six figures (laugh).

The interior of the box is quite rich. It is equipped with a 3 meter long 3.5 interface cable, a 3 meter long balance cable and a 6.5 mm to 3.5 mm interface as standard. The headphone interfaces are all gold-plated.

The unit shell is made of metal, but it is relatively light. The surface is textured and painted (I hope the paint will not fall off).

The headphone end of the wire has red and silver marks on the left and right, and is fixed with a screw.

Sony official website indicates that the plug of wire material is made in China.

The wire itself is made in Malaysia (economic globalization).

This sentence should be translated into Chinese as "quality".

Close up of the unit diaphragm, 70mm is really not small.

The head beam is made of metal inside and covered with a very soft leather outside, with excellent hand feel.

10 segment adjustable metal head beam.

A large air vent is opened at the bottom of the unit. Is it playing with air?

There are also vents on the top of the unit.

This is what the plug-in line looks like.

How big is the volume of Z7? Let's demonstrate one (thanks On camera).

In terms of wearing feeling, the earmuffs of Z7 are very large and very soft, so they are very comfortable to wear. The weight is not very heavy, at least much lighter than the iron triangle M50. The overall design is a bit semi open, so the sound insulation is only average, and it will be a little hot to wear in sunny February.

But after all, the Z7 we got is brand new. Combined with personal understanding of Sony's polymer liquid crystal diaphragm products (EX1000 and Z1000), It should take quite a long time for the Z7 to burn up. It is not realistic to talk about the sense of hearing in the state of no run in and using the ZX1 direct drive. From the initial hearing, the Z7 has a very broad sound field with good stereoscopic sense, and really has a taste of "air".

In terms of easy drive, the Z7 is obviously not a fuel efficient lamp - at least ZX1 is difficult to push the Z7 well, so it may still need to use portable power amplifiers or even desktop power amplifiers to explore the strength of the Z7. Ordinary mobile phones are naturally more hopeless, but think about it, otherwise Sony will equip the Z7 with a 3m long line.

So this time, we can only go here. In the future, we will conduct proper cooker for the Z7, and use a more powerful front end to conduct specific sound quality evaluation. If you have a strong interest in the Z7, please continue to pay attention to us.
