However, after redesign, the appearance of the GT72 looks at least not that old. There are only a few decorations on the solid frosted black aluminum alloy panel. The A side extends to the edge above the screen, similar to the design of the sports car hood plus colorful LED keyboard lights. Fortunately, the GT72 does not fall into the path of "lamp factory" and has its own unique style.

Although the 17 inch laptop has no portability at all, the GT72 is still smaller and thinner than its predecessor. Technically, there is no problem with the GT72 touchpad. The area is large enough, the surface is smooth enough, the identification is accurate and sensitive enough, and the feel of pressing physical keys is also satisfactory. However, there is no height difference between this touchpad and the palm rest, and it is impossible to accurately find the boundary just by feeling. Occasionally, you don't know when your fingers draw the boundary during use.

Screen and audio:

If there is anything necessary for such a large game, it should be a large, high-quality screen, GT72 is no exception. This LCD screen has excellent resolution and vivid color performance. It is a pleasure to play games or watch blue light. If you are forced to pick a bone in the egg, the contrast of this screen will drop significantly at extreme angles, but who has nothing to do with viewing the screen from that angle.

The audio system of the GT72 is also excellent. The sound of Dynaudio's speakers is loud and clear, which is almost the best notebook speaker at present. In addition, Sound Blaster Cinema software optimizes the sound in real time, without setting, and the equalizer can basically adjust automatically.

Performance and endurance:

Even if it is placed on your lap to play the game, you can't even feel the heat from the fan for the first 20 minutes, and after that, the heat will not be unbearable. After you turn on the enhanced cooling mode, The temperature of the fuselage will be further reduced, but to be honest, it is unnecessary to enable this function.

In the standard video cycle test, It took only 3 hours for the GT72 to clean up the battery, which is an average score for high-end games.
