ESS Releases New Generation Hi Fi Chip for Mobile Devices

With the Hi Fi of mobile devices, especially mobile phones, the famous audio chip manufacturer ESS has launched a new generation of audio chips for mobile devices, namely SABRE9018AQ2M, SABRE9602 and SABRE9018AQ2C. Among them, SABRE9018AQ2M is the successor of ES9018K2M, which continues the high standard parameters and improves the signal-to-noise ratio. In addition, SABRE9602 and SABRE9018AQ2C are ear amplifiers and DAC ear amplifiers.

In terms of specific parameters, the SABRE9018AQ2M supports the maximum PCM 32bit 384kHz and DSD 11.2MHz sampling specifications, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 129dB, a harmonic distortion of - 120dB, a standby power of 1mW, and a power consumption of less than 40mW.

The ear amplifier SABRE9602 has a signal to noise ratio of 122dB, a harmonic distortion of - 123dB, and an output of 49mW with a 32 ohm headset. The last chip, SABRE9018AQ2C with DAC ear amplifier integrated structure, also has PCM 32bit 384kHz and DSD 11.2MHz sampling specifications, with signal noise ratio of 121dB and harmonic distortion of - 115dB. It works elegantly at 3.3V with 32 ohm earphone lower 49mW.
