Korean operators have always had great advantages in the rate of mobile networks, and SK Telecom has just announced that it will use the new "3 band LTE-A", namely, three band carrier aggregation LTE-A network, with a downlink rate of 300 Mbps.
The reason why tri band LTE-A can transmit data and communicate faster is that it gathers three different bands (1.8GHz, 800MHz and 2.1GHz) into one. SK Telecom also claims that the tariff of tri band LTE-A will be consistent with that of ordinary LTE networks.
Samsung will also launch Galaxy Note 4 S-LTE (i.e. using Snapdragon 810, supporting LTE Cat. 9 version), this phone will be available in South Korea in mid January. For domestic users, let alone LTE Cat. 9, LTE Cat. 6 has not been officially commercialized, so we are more looking forward to the performance improvement brought by Snapdragon 810 on Galaxy Note 4 S-LTE
