According to foreign media reports, a patent application submitted by Apple, which describes 3D display technology, has been exposed recently. In 2012, Apple filed a patent application for a 3D graphical user interface (GUI) technology.
The patent of "3D display technology" is described in detail as "a 3D display environment for mobile devices". It will use sensors to determine the user's face orientation, and it will display the perspective projection of the 3D display environment according to the user's face orientation data. Users do not need to have any physical interaction with the display screen during use. Apple has always attached great importance to patent rights, so just because Apple has applied for the patent for the time being does not mean that the patent will use the technology in future products.
At the same time, Apple has also acquired a 3D mapping technology based on projection, which originally belonged to PrimeSense, an Israeli company they acquired. This technology will play an auxiliary role in Apple's efforts to develop gesture control for Mac, Apple TV and even mobile devices.
