Samsung today released the industry's first 4GB LPDDR4 memory for mobile phones and tablets. The new memory chip uses Samsung's 20nm technology, with a read/write speed of up to 3200Mbps. It supports 4K video playback and 20 million pixel continuous shooting, and its power consumption is 40% lower than LPDDR3.
