Gartner: Samsung ranks first in global sales

According to the latest data from industry analyst Gartner, the global smartphone sales in the third quarter of 2014 increased by 20.3% to 301 million units. According to the market share, the top five are Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Xiaomi and Lenovo, of which Samsung and Apple have a combined share of 37%, down 7% from the same period last year.

Samsung was not very good in the third quarter of this year. Its sales and market share of functional phones and smart phones declined significantly, and the sales in the Chinese market dropped by 28.6%. Huawei ranks third in market share, but its smartphone sales are low.


In terms of system, Android is still the largest smartphone system in the world. In addition, Android and iOS have maintained a significant upward trend, while Windows and BlackBerry have obviously declined.
