Meizu's Double Card and Double Waiting Meilan Note
Meizu's Double Card and Double Waiting Meilan Note

Meizu released its new brand Meilan and its first mobile phone Meilan Note on December 23, forming a battle line from 999 to 2499 with MX4 and MX4 Pro. What's the difference between the appearance of the Melanie Note, which is famous for its cost performance, and the MX4? Let's have a look:

The packaging of Meilan Note still keeps the characteristics of Meizu's previous products, using a flat white paper box.

We got the Sample version of the Magic Blue Note, one blue and one white.

There is a disposable label on the package.

The packaging structure is very simple. You can see the mobile phone and accessories directly by flipping the cover. It is not as complex as the MX series.

The accessories of Meilan Note are very simple, including power adapter, data cable, relevant instructions and pins.

The stylus has a distinctive shape, with the logo of Flyme printed on it.

The charging current of the power adapter is 2A.

The front of the Magic Blue Note is black whether it is blue or white.

Meilan Note screen is a 5.5 inch 1080P IGZO screen. With GFF full fit technology, Meizu finally used the 16:9 screen, which is really rare

The earpiece is narrow, which is the same as the MX series. The front 5 megapixel camera and the sensor are OV5670.

There is a touch button at the bottom, which will be familiar to those who have used MX series mobile phones. It also functions as a breath lamp.

The back is bright plastic, which is similar to the feeling of the iPhone 5C.

13 million pixel rear camera, sensor from Samsung, size 1/3.06 inch, 5P lens, F2.2 aperture, equipped with dual color temperature led fill light.

The brand logo below.

The top of the phone has a 3.5mm headphone interface, a noise reducing microphone, and a power key. The 5.5 inch screen and the longer body make it difficult to press the power key of Magic Blue Note. However, Flyme has the function of double clicking the screen to light up, which can reduce the frequency of using the power key.

There is a volume key on the left side of the body. Unlike the MX4, the volume keys are placed separately.

At the bottom is the microUSB interface, speakers and call microphone.

There is a card slot on the left side of the body, and the Magic Blue Note is a non removable back cover, which is different from MX series phones. Maybe because of the engineering machine, the card holder of the Meilan Note is loose from the body, and it doesn't fit well after insertion.

We can take out the card holder through the card pin. Meilan Note supports dual card dual standby, card 1 supports TD-LTE network, card 2 supports GSM network, and uses a microSIM card.

The comparison of Meilan Note, MX4 and MX4 Pro shows that the screen proportion of Meilan Note is relatively low.

The layout of the back is very similar.

The design of the top is also completely consistent, but Meilan Note does not use the design of a metal middle frame, so there will be no antenna partition strip.

The design of the bottom of the Magic Blue Note is different in that it has no groove for opening the back cover.

For more tests of Meilan Note, please pay attention to our subsequent evaluation.
