Operation and use
In terms of function orientation, Yeelight is the exclusive plug-in of Xiaomi router, and its management client is directly integrated into the app of Xiaomi router.
Plug the USB receiver into the Xiaomi router, twist the bulb to the lamp holder, and open the app of the Xiaomi router to use it. However, since there is no Xiaomi router mini (it also has a USB interface), it is uncertain whether the latter can support this bulb.
In addition, if the app is not used, Yeelight can be used as an ordinary bulb. After power on, it will display white at 100% brightness by default.
After the USB receiver is connected, the bulb will appear in the smart device list of Xiaomi Routing, where you can control the switch of the bulb. There is no need to set a password and pair during the process, so it is very convenient to use.
However, it is a pity to see the function list. The smart light can only adjust the brightness and color. The native provides five themes with different colors and brightness, such as "beach, waves, sunlight" (the default theme setting will be automatically restored after exiting). Heat generation: the test results tell us that even LED bulbs generate considerable heat. In the office where the room temperature is 25 degrees, the temperature on the lamp holder is higher than 57.6 degrees after the white color is displayed at the highest brightness for 2 hours and 40 minutes, and it is about 55.8 degrees after unscrewing.
What is the concept of 57 degrees? It is enough to trigger the hand retraction reaction (stop when touching). Normal people cannot touch the metal part (the heat transfer is too fast). However, the lamp cap is acrylic, which is not hot when unscrewing. This is good.
Turn it off for 2 minutes and turn it back on for 3 minutes. The temperature drops to 52.5 ℃ and 50.5 ℃ respectively, and the heat dissipation speed is quite high. However, in actual use, it should be kept away from narrow space and combustibles, just like ordinary bulbs.

In the process of use, this smart bulb is really not smart enough, and its functions are relatively thin. There are only three functions, namely, "remote control switch, light color and brightness". The so-called scene light settings are actually the five colors set natively.
What makes people even more unbalanced is that the Bluetooth version can automatically change colors according to the mobile phone music rhythm, and the functions such as "delay, timing, automatic darkening and lightening" have not been added.
In order to control it, the only USB interface of the router is occupied, and a receiver can only control a light bulb. No matter how convenient it is, it cannot hide its weak function. It is more about tasting and experiencing.
However, it is still a fairly competent bulb, and its heat generation and safety (without glass and with mercury in the gas) are better than ordinary bulbs; Although there is a built-in wireless chip and a voltage rise and fall circuit, there is no common "Zizi" sound of electronic product power supply; It can be used normally without an app, which is also very easy to use.
