Colorful backlight colors? The ever-changing light patterns? Or various programming functions? Or is it just a one click recruitment? If you are really indifferent to these functions and just want a simple mechanical keyboard that pursues the essence of keyboard work, perhaps QPAD MK-70 is your choice.
In fact, QPAD MK-70 is the current flagship MK-85 of QPAD, which has simplified the corresponding accessories and HUB expansion functions, resulting in a much lower price, which is more practical. Of course, MK-70 and MK-85 use the same mold, both of which are outsourced by Aiwang, and the mold is the same as that of Aiwang U9.
The packaging design of QPAD MK-70 is the same as that of MK-10, with the same white theme design. The upper left corner shows various features. In fact, some features of QPAD MK-70 are standard configuration of mechanical keyboard, including mechanical shaft, USB/PS2 interface, 50 million cycle life, full key non impact, full backlight design and word transmission design.
There is also a description of the features of multi languages on the back, which will not be explained again.
The side shows some feature selling points with pictures and texts, and the more important one is the multimedia key in area F.
In terms of accessories, the QPAD MK-70, as a reduced version, is not equipped with the hand rest and key cap on the MK-85. It only has two belief logo stickers and one PS2 adapter, which is practical first.
Nylon weaving is used for wire material, and steel wire is embedded, which has a certain fixing effect. In addition, there is a gold-plated interface design, but there is no screen magnetic ring.
The QPAD MK-70 keyboard is identical to the MK-85 keyboard and uses the same mold. The QPAD MK-70 is a standard 104 key design, with a narrow border and a special line curve design. It looks a bit sexy. In addition, the front of the QPAD MK-70 is designed like skin, which is quite good tactile.
View various details of QPAD MK-70. The QPAD MK-70 provides full functions in all aspects, such as the F area multimedia key, narrow border, etc. It is a keyboard that is more in line with the current visual aesthetics. The line design of the QPAD MK-70 is also quite interesting. It forms a wavy outline design on the keyboard, which breaks the traditional flush feeling.
The back design of the QPAD MK-70 also has a special design. Although it is just the strengthening of the lines, it is at least a bit of design. The back of the QPAD MK-70 is still standard, with two foot pads and two foot stands.
The mold is consistent, so the QPAD MK-70 still has a hand bracket slot near the foot pad, which means that the ML-85 hand bracket can also be used, but unfortunately, QPAD did not sell the hand bracket separately.
QPAD MK-70 or this set of abrasives is very interesting in the design of the line, especially from the side, it divides the keyboard into several visual layers, creating a sense of line through the inner frame. This line design, coupled with the performance of skin like coating, I personally think it breaks the traditional design style of mechanical keyboard, which is very jumpy. I personally like it.
The QPAD MK-85 provides two USB interfaces and audio interfaces, which are designed on the top of the indicator light. Of course, the QPAD MK-70 using the same mold also has reserved corresponding interfaces. Of course, as a simplified version, these interfaces are really just interfaces. From the information we learned, the design of the QPAD MK-70 and MK-85 on the PCB is different, which means that the QPAD MK-70 may not be "upgraded" to MK-85 through simple DIY technology
The QPAD MK-70 uses Cherry shaft, and the large key position is designed as a stabilizer bar. The balance bar of large key position is relatively crisp and has been lubricated. In terms of feel performance, the QPAD MK-70 is designed with built-in steel plate, and the feel performance reflected is basically the same as most mechanical keyboards and Cherry axis. There is not much to say.
In terms of key cap, the QPAD MK-70 uses ABS material, and the characters are transparent. The spray coating of key cap is relatively ordinary, although it does not affect the use, but patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder should not pull it out to play. In addition, the laser engraving of the characters on the keycap is deeper than the keyboard you have played before, which makes the concave convex feeling of the characters more obvious.
The QPAD MK-70 is full backlight design and has four brightness adjustments. Compared with MK-85, the QPAD MK-70 has a less breathing light effect and less programmable functions. Of course, this is all about practicality.
The positioning of the QPAD MK-70 is an entry-level model in high-end keyboards. It is a clear and appropriate way to reduce the price by simplifying unnecessary functions, such as the hand rest, HUB interface and accessories, and to adjust the product for practicality and ordinary players. However, even if the price of QPAD MK-70 is reduced from 1000 yuan of MK-85 to 699 yuan at present, the price is still slightly higher. Of course, if you are a QPAD fan, it is not an option to recognize the design idea of QPAD MK-70.
