Yesterday, according to foreign media reports, the Samsung Galaxy S6 development code is Project Zero, and the foreign website SamMobile exclusively exposed part of the Samsung S6 hardware configuration and model code for the European and American markets.
But please note that S6 is still in the early stage of research, and everything may change. In the later stage, the official information shall prevail.
Screen:
Not surprisingly, S6 will be equipped with 2560 × 1440 2K level display screen, which will be the standard configuration of Android flagship for some time in the future, but the screen size is still unknown, because Samsung itself has not determined.
Rear camera:
The sensor on Galaxy Note 4 is Sony's IMX240, but Samsung is still hovering between 16 million pixels and 20 million pixels. It may continue to add 16 million pixels plus OIS optical anti shake, but hopes to be better at low light photography.
Front camera:
Upgrade to 5 million pixels. After all, the Galaxy Grand Prime, Galaxy A3 and other low-end models are all 5 million pixels.
Storage:
There are three versions of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB, and 16GB will be abandoned, which does not conform to the flagship identity.
Processor:
It is still a dual platform. First, Samsung's new Exynos 7420, a real 64 bit chip, includes four A57 and four A53 CPU cores. The Exynos 5433 in Note 4 is actually 64 bit, but it is not enabled. After all, Android 5.0 has just started, and the Snapdragon 805 is also 32-bit.
The other platform is Snapdragon 810, Qualcomm's first 64 bit high-end chip, which also has four A57 and four A53 cores. This will also be the smallest difference in CPU between Samsung's flagship dual platforms.
Baseband:
Snapdragon 810 will almost certainly match MDM9635, 20nm process, and support LTE Cat. 6 300Mbps.
Exynos 7420 is expected to cooperate with Samsung's own baseband SS333 to replace the Intel solution used on Exynos 5430/5433. It is worth mentioning that the baseband of Note 4 is Samsung's.
Memory:
I don't know. It may still be 3GB. After all, it is enough, but it does not exclude 4GB. Anyway, 64 bit systems can support it.
Navigation:
The new BCM4773 of Broadcom integrates GNSS navigation and sensor center into a single chip for the first time, which can uniformly receive and process data from Wi Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, reducing power consumption.
