Making the fuselage lighter and thinner is an important way to show the design strength of manufacturers, and OPPO has also made continuous efforts in this regard. The OPPO Finder once left a deep impression on us. Today, OPPO R5 has been launched, and it has also successfully won the title of the world's thinnest mobile phone. Its body thickness is only 4.85mm.
The packaging of OPPO R5 for this test is special. In addition to the black box commonly used by OPPO, there is also a cylindrical wooden box with a triangular bevel.
Let's take a look at this black box first.
There is an obvious Schneider certified logo on the back of the package, as well as some relevant parameters of R5.
Open the package... Where's the phone?
Let's take a look at this cool wooden box, which is engraved with OPPO brand logo.
There is a handle on the side to open the wooden box.
When I opened the box, it turned out to be Jinsha Chocolate
Carefully observe the inside of the box. In fact, there is a dark box.
Open the dark box, and R5 will lie there quietly.
Be decisive and integrate with the original packaging.
R5 uses a 5.2 inch 1080P Super AMOLED screen, which is very colorful.
There is a light sensor and a distance sensor on the right side of the earpiece, and a front 5 megapixel camera on the far right side.
Below is The three touch keys are Menu, Home and Return.
The back of R5 adopts a three-stage design, and the middle part is made of silver sandblasted metal, which has a delicate feel.
Rear 13 million pixel camera, IMX214 sensor, Schneider certified lens, with a led fill light.
Due to the thin body, the camera part has protrusions.
Metal partition layer at the top.
There is a microUSB interface and a call microphone on the bottom.
On the right side of the fuselage are the volume key and power key.
The SIM card slot is on the left side of the fuselage. It may be strange to see this. Why is the R5 fuselage so simple? What about speakers and 3.5mm headphone connectors? In fact, R5 combines the earpiece and speaker into one, and the headphone interface will be described below.
Single card design, supporting micro SIM card.
When we measured the top of R5, the thickness was only 4.819mm, which was surprisingly thin.
Although the body is very thin, the R5 has an asymmetric arc design on the metal frame, so it will not feel uncomfortable when holding it too thin.
The second layer of the package is some accessories of R5, and a transparent protective cover is attached.
Since the R5 is not equipped with a 3.5mm headphone connector, we need to connect a micro USB to 3.5mm adapter cable when we need to use headphones.
R5 also supports VOOC flash charging technology, and the output current of the power adapter is up to 5A.
