Last year, LG and Samsung released the mobile phones G Flex and Galaxy Round with curved effect, but they are still not really flexible screen phones.
Recently, Kyocera, a Japanese manufacturer, demonstrated the prototype of the flexible mobile phone named "Proteus" at the CEATEC exhibition, which has three forms of use: ordinary large screen mobile phones, bracelets and even full folding. Needless to say, the use experience of ordinary touch screen mobile phones can not be ignored. The bracelet mode can turn the mobile phone into a wearable product, and monitor the user's heart rate and other data through the sensor integrated in the back of the body, which is suitable for use during sports. The third fully collapsible mode allows users to clip their mobile phones to bicycles and other devices for use.
Of course, Kyocera Proteus, which is in the prototype stage, still needs to solve some problems, such as AMOLED display, how to use virtual keyboard in full state, and flexible battery. After the solution is finally found, this seemingly sci-fi mobile phone is only a technical concept for the time being.
